Season 15

I just watched season 15 for the first time. I’m just past restaurant wars.

Claudette threw Adriennne, Tanya, and Chris under the bus when she was on the bottom and up for elimination. THREE people on THREE different instances.

Her comment during her exit was also very disrespectful.

Edit. This post apparently offended mods (u/KarinaDogs) of other subreddits and got me banned from there because of my post HERE. Read the drama below in my first comment of the deleted comment with receipts. 🧾

There are two top chef subreddits. The other one was removed with no reason provided (probably by you).

Edit. Here’s some context since she removed her comment.

She’s not a mod on this subreddit and got mad I called her out on her hypocrisy so she banned me from the other TopChef subreddit.

Here’s proof of her posing as a mod on this subreddit.

Here’s proof of her posting the same thing on different subreddits. She can do it but others can’t (even though she’s not a mod on this subreddit).

Downtown Raleigh and the Bus Station

I saw this sign at a bar downtown near the bus station.

What are your thoughts on the bus station down town? Do you think it is negatively impacting the prosperity of downtown?

Edit: here is a comment from someone who previously drove for the Raleigh system and currently drives for GOTriangle.

——————————————-
I’ll preface this by saying I spent 20 years in tech hardware sales. Working from home before working from home was a thing. So, unless it was a work gathering or a zoom meeting I didn’t see coworkers much.

My experience overall has been an 8/10.

Passengers for us (GOTriangle by the way) are generally well behaved and friendly. I’d say some 75% of our folks are commuters and are looking to get from A-B with minimal bullshit. As long as you are a paying customer, qualify for no cost ridership, and are not disruptive, you’re allowed to ride. We do have about a dozen and a half people who are either permanently banned or banned for any number of reasons. We do get the unhoused as riders and one of the issues one runs into there is the amount of things they bring on board. Some bring enormous amounts of stuff and it can become a problem.

My biggest issue is comfort level as I drive. Our seats take a lot of abuse (especially from some of our more weighty drivers) and they are comically difficult to adjust. I’m 6’5” and 250# myself. My size helps with passenger control.

I worked for the Raleigh system and it was rife with problems ranging from drug dealing to prostitution to overdoses to deaths. The drivers were overwhelmed with work and turnover and frankly were fucking awful to the passengers and each other. I got into three or so fistfights, was spit on numerous times and was stabbed in my arm by riders.

My day to day at GOT is easygoing for the most part. I set expectations with the troublemakers and do my job. I will say that that supervisors don’t see the tough parts of the job and aren’t focused on us as much as need be.

Abbott Elementary Guest Appearances

Keke Palmer has been popping up everywhere for me. I wonder if and when she will appear on the show. I think her personality would play out well on the show!

I’ve been smoking for years now. I smoke everyday.

However, I’ve noticed that once I start smoking more often (think wake and bake), my allergies will act up. My nose won’t stop running and I will sneeze non-stop. If I quit for a few days and do edibles, it goes away for a while. Once I start smoking more again, it will come back.

I’ve also noticed the area under my eyes become dark. Similar to shiners you get from allergies.

Any advice? Am I truly allergic?
