Debian 13, monitor not working using type-c (dp alt mode).

Guys hi

Yesterday I posted this question in r/linuxquestions, they recommended to post here.

I have Dasung 13k bw eink monitor. Manufacture says type-c (dp alt mode) is preferred connection.

But I don't get any output / black screen. It works using HDMI though.

Trying to understand is it monitor, or my mini PC, or linux.

Mini PC is beelink ryzen ser 5 5500u, running Debian 13, it has 3 ports - dp, HDMI, type-c. Type-c is dp alt mode.

Mint/Tello vs Google Voice vs Voip to receive and make US calls as freelancer?

I am freelancer and need to be able to receive and make US calls when travelling. Currently I do it from personal number (mint) using wifi calling but I want to have separate “business” number.

How does Mint/Tello, Google Voice and Voip compares in terms of reliability?

Of course I would prefer clients email, whatsApp, etc me. But client is king, if he wants to call I must be able to receive it :)

I have experience using voip_ms, but reports of calls not going through make me pause.

I am more motivated with salt.

Title. I noticed that when I add salt I wake up earlier, more motivated at work, etc.

Even tiny amount seem to work.

I would prefer to do it via blood but I currently can't source it.

Downside I am bit more anxious.

Anyone else?

Also if I go too long no salt I become a bit too aggressive / pushy with people.

Did anyone notice that carnivore makes you less driven?

Title. I've been eaten carnivore for last 2 months. (before that I was AB for 5 years)

Example day some raw liver, 225g lamb fat, 400g raw beef, no added salt. Benefits much better mood, libido, confidence, sleep, less anxiety.

Problem I am much less driven at my job / business. All I am thinking is ladies (I am single now). Or meeting friends, etc.

When I include carbs (fruits) and salt anxiety comes back big time. But with that desire to work / succeed financially.

I want to dry IF. Is it better to have most water at beginning or end of eating window?

Title. If I have 2 large carnivore meals (10am and 2pm) should I aim to have more water before eating? Say 8am. Or after eating say 5pm.

So far from my experience if I have more before it seems to worsen my digestion. Even with 2 hour window.

If I do after I seem a bit constipated but digestion is better? Still testing though...

What are your experiences?

Anyone here eats mostly raw fat, meat and some organs?

Title. Any time I try to add veg juice, dairy, honey, etc I feel worse compared to these 3 staples.

Can't do basic properly at medium or fast songs.

Title. I am working on my basic. When I put slow song I can do proper weight shifts, hip accent on 4/8, stepping on ball of the foot, etc.

Looks (to my beginner eye) nice and I feel that I "take energy from the floor" (by moving weight from one leg to another)

But once I put even medium speed song - I can't do it. I can't do hip accent on 4/8, I don't feel as much energy from the floor, etc.

What should I do? Should I keep practicing with proper technique at slow songs? Or should I force myself to faster once? But then technique will be sloppy.

p.s. by hip accent on 4/8 I meant that you press floor and release making hip go up then down instead of just tap.

What do you think about no salt?

Title. I saw it mentioned in several places:

The Fat of The Land by Stefansson described history of pemican and that it never had salt added

Aajonus Vonderplanitz, creater of Raw Primal strongly advised against salt

Lots of long term carnivores go no salt.

What's your opinion?

Dry mouth on carnivorish.

So I am eating AB but currently closer to carnivore (meat, eggs, fats, some dairy) and lemon and cucumber juice. I feel good, but I am getting dry mouth. Any ideas why? Asking here cause there are lots of ex carnivore on this sub :)

Dry mouth.

Guy hi. Any ideas why I can be getting dry mouth? It seems to be worse when I am getting lots of sun exposure. Logically I think it might be electrolytes but I don't do salt since raw primal doesn't allow it.

How many of you guys drink veg / celery juice?

Title. I notice some negatives from it, but I have to admit it does help with acidity. Fruit, cucumbers, etc doesn't work near as well. I can somewhat skip veg / celery juice when I replace red meat with chicken, more milk, more eggs, etc. But if I eat red meat then I need it.

Feel super tired after eating, great energy when fasting.

Title. My typical day is

10am 150g suet, chicken or beef till satiety

12pm cucumber and lemon juice

1:30pm 100g suet, chicken or beef till satiety

I really like how I feel somewhere from 3pm to 10am next day, but this window from 10am to 2pm I am so sleepy and exhausted - i simply can't do anything productive. Any suggestions?

Craving lemons/fruit 3-5 hours after meals, getting hives.

Title. Usually I eat my biggest (animal foods) meals in first part of the day. Then 3-5 hours later I start strongly craving lemons (or other fruit). If I I eat them (say 1 - 2 lemons) then next morning I will have hives. If I don't no hives bit I will feel worse.

Could someone explain what's going on? And are these hives a good thing? Maybe I am detoxing or smng.

I tried other foods to replace lemons, but they don't work well for me.

celery juice - make me feel less masculine, worse mood, lasts about 24 hours

tomatoes - kill cravings for lemons but I feel worse (likely cause nightshades)

milk - hydrate but I still crave lemons

blood - (surprisingly) doesn't hydrate and I still crave lemons
