How often are players using housing?

Just curious of how many people actually spend time in their houses.

I do it rarely but I like it.

Just trying to get an idea of how many use it

Edit: thanks for the insides!

Is there like a homepage or something which tracks houses with people in it? Like rp houses or something?
I know of the house finder ingame but I don’t believe I can actually find “active” houses?

Class master/ sub classing question

I like pure classes and sub classes but are clas masteries is always stronger compared to sub classes? Mainly in PvP - not talking about the top 10% players or anything, just if it’s feasible.

I play a dk and maybe I want to sub a sorc and warden line or something

Thx

One of the best n64 games

Played this when I was about 12 yo and taught me English.

This game is still very amazing to play and has great humor(even though I don’t like anime anymore lol)

I dont understand the hate for the sheogorath quest

Of course everybody can have their own opinion but I read in the forums that its "badly written" and "took me only 1 hour to complete"

I did the quest last night and it did NOT take only 1 hour. I didnt skip the dialog though. It was pretty entertaining and I was engaged the whole time.

So I am curious. Are all the other quests in the game way better then this one? Or what is going on here?

I only did a few base zone quest by now and found many of them way more boring (but never actually bad) compared to this

This is literally the best mmorpg

So, I've tried pretty much all MMORPGs for several hours. over the years. Some of them for many hours, like ESO (2k hours).

I am looking into GW2 now, and I am freshly lvl 80 and it's very fun. I don't know yet if I like it more than ESO, but that's not important.

What is important is that GW2 is THE best, or should I say the only, MMORPG. What I mean by this is that the social factor (which has been forgotten or not used by pretty much all the other MMOs) is so freaking strong in this game.

The WORLD feels like a world; the people there, everyone is helping out and friendly (mostly).

This happens because of the open-world design and events, default chat bubbles (ESO doesn't have this at all), and other things.

It's just my 2 cents and something that became very clear while playing it for about 150 hours. Not saying it's the best MMORPG in all terms, but if you want a real social open world, this is it.

ESO is a GREAT single player game with "player-zombie npcs" (who mostly do not talk or emote with randoms)

GW2 is a TRULY MMORPG

Combat is amazing too, lol.

btw: your opinion may vary but just to let you know, I am not really a min max guy, the most important things for me in an mmorpg is the world, the people and just gameplay.

performance question

I just joined gw2 and I am having a lot of fun with my engineer.

Anyway in pvp and in cites where are many people my fps goes down to 40-30. I know this game is cpu heavy, my question is can this be completely eliminated with a better cpu?

I got a i9 9900k right now

Playing without quest pins is really fun

This might be crazy to some but I really enjoy playing the game without any quest hints(where to go at quest objects in the world.. it makes you be more immersed in the world without just following the compass or running to the quest symbol. No mini map also helps.

Not very efficient to play but pretty immersive and fun

"Master Merrick, where are you?" -dude is driving me crazy

every... time he says it. Is that a quest after the fighters guild? Or do I do this know to shut him up?

I love the little details the game has

for example how quest npc react. I am in stonesfalls right now and grandmaster Omin Dres said something like "who are you and what are you.. oh its the hero of Fort Virak, honor to your house".

I tried it with another char who didnt do the prequest and he just says to get the hell out lol.

Also love the little applauding sometimes
I hope this stuff continues in the later quests.

kinda crazy how different some classes play

I can't speak for all classes but I put around 600 hours in dragon knight and templar and I just gave nightblade a few hours of gameplay and he plays really well. It plays more like a swordsman when using 2h, its really fun lol. Especially on vestige. 1on1 sword fights feel pretty great with the night blade tricks

oh and I am not really talking about good mega damage or anything, just how it plays.

anyone else having weird cursor behavior on 60+hz screens?

It feels kinda jittery/stuttery. Just want to make sure if others have this too.

Having a blast with this game!

So I already put 1500 hours into the game but since the overland difficulty I am enjoying the game even more.

I saved pretty much all the quest until this update so I can fully enjoy the story and world, its amazing, it also feels dangerous now.

I highly recommend the hardcore add-on.

I play with plot armor option, no way shrines except purchased homes. Also food and water tracking. Addons is really fun (no add lol)

Its also really cool to not have way shrines because you absorb the world even more and have sometimes pretty cool random interactions with other player (like an emo should be)

I also like to not use any of my costumes/mofys until 50

and there are more master/vestige player I would have expected. Really cool to see.

you guys having fun too?
