Should I take partial drop from RVCE?

So basically I might get ECE/ETE in RVCE Bangalore, there is nothing wrong with the branch, that's the branch I want to go in and the placements from my college are good too but the college lacks in all other regards other than this. My main concern is that I would be losing out on college life because the campus isn't good, there aren't many extracurricular activities/clubs and there are no sports playgrounds in the college. You might think that being in bangalore would solve that but I'm not from a financially affluent background. I can't afford 8-10k on sports clubs each month nor could I afford to pay for a lot facilities on my own which one might get in a tier 1 college for free. I've always been very introverted throughout my school life and I thought I could change all that in college but seems like that part is doomed even before it started.

So if there are seniors who could help me to know if these factors are something taking partial drop over or not? Are my concerns naive or superficial? Does college life and alumni hold as much weightage as im putting on it?

I scored 95%ile in mains this year but didn't qualify in advanced.

What kind of experiments undergraduates perform (physics)?

I feel really inclined towards applied/experimental physics. I wanted to know what kind of experiments do UG students get experience with in physics labs. I wanted to figure out if my interest lies more towards physics or towards engineering.
For some background, I like programming and IOT/microcontroller stuff. I like learning and understand about theoretical problems and phenomenon and seeing those effects and their application in real life.

Is this imposter syndrome?

I got selected into IISER PUNE in 1st round and I scored good in the exam and I've always wanted to go into physics and I love problem solving. However for the last few days I've suddenly getting this feeling that maybe I'm not cut out for physics, that it's a really tough degree and I won't be able to handle it and would crumble under the pressure and eventually drop out and even if I somehow make it, I won't be selected for phd and would eventually end up jobless. Maybe it's because I haven't touched a textbook in last 2 months or maybe it's because imposter syndrome or maybe just because whatever I'm thinking, its true.

Anyone else who went through the same phase as me or going through?

anyone who's pursuing a phd in a experimental physics related field who'd be willing to talk to me for advice

Im currently thinking about joining iiser p this year, im in a dilemma between that and engineering core. As Phd seems to be one of the only sound options after iiser bsms, i wanted to talk to someone who's currently pursuing phd either in india or abroad in physics field. I want to know about what day to day life and finances are like during phd.

Is masters required for getting a good job in ece/ete?

I'll get ECE/ETE in RVCE, I want to know what's the future like in that domain, I want to get a core job. From what I've heard that going for a masters is really mandatory after a core field so is it important to go for one after ECE/ETE?

Should I join IISER if I want to go for CDS?

So I'm thinking about joining an IISER this year. I have this huge passion for joining the armed forces (especially the army), I still have about 2 nda attempts left. However the thing is that getting selected in ssb is quite difficult, most people don't make it through that so it is recommended to keep a option. I currently have two options, whether to take engineering (RVCE or MSRIT) or to go for IISERS. I feel like im more inclined towards pure science and research and thats why im going for iisers. As in if I don't get to make it in the armed forces, what career would I like to purse in my civilian life.

However the thing is, the IISER BSMS course is quite long (5 years) and by the time I'd complete my course, I'd barely have much attempts left for CDS (age limit 24), i'll be 18 when I would be joining college. Also as far as I've heard that the academics would be too hectic to prepare for ssb or the written part.

I know I could go for ssb during my 4th year with bs option even then I don't think I'd get enough attempts as getting selected requires like 3-4 attempts mostly. On top of that 4th year is them most hectic from what I've heard so I don't know if my preparation would be upto that level.

Am I making a mistake by joining IISERS? Should I rather join an engineering college where I'd get more flexibility to other things and also the course would be much shorter so I'd get more attempts?

Any protests planned to support for sonam wangchuk's hunger strike?

His effort seems to be about a noble cause, asking for transparency from our government and seeking reform in education. Are there any events planned in Dhanbad to raise awareness or garner support for this?

Would participating in a protest to support sonam wangchuk risk my chances of selection?

So basically I'm thinking about joining a protest in my city to show support for sonam wangchuk's hunger strike. I'm worried that this might be seen as a political move and might threaten my chances of getting selected in the military because military is supposed to be totally apolitical. There's practically no way to avoid getting photographed at a protest nowadays.

Doubt regarding getting bonafide of bsc certificate for army ssb

so i have this query, so basically want to give cds during college, now for that I need a bachelor's degree. now i know that you get a bsc degree at the end of 3rd year and a bs degree at the end of 4th. you could go for ssb in the while you are in the last year of your degree, for that you need to produce a bona fide or noc from your uni that you'll pass the course in that year and get that degree, however im not sure if to get that bonafide or noc you have to exit the course totally or not. the thing is that getting selected in ssb is quite difficult, so i can't take a total exit from my course, cause if i don't get selected i won't be able to complete my college bsms too.

i wanted to know that is there an option so that i could get a noc from iiser in 3rd year stating that *if* i get selected in ssb, i'd leave college with bsc degree and if i don't i could continue with my bsms as usual? i've asked from some other people that it happens in other iisers, i just wanted to confirm if that is an option in iiser p or not.

if you or any of your seniors have gone for similar exams who could help regarding this info, i’d be greatful
