Guides in bootcamp always peaked at bootcamp. Never seen one amount to anything more than a enlistment.

Every guide in my company essentially peaked at bootcamp. I remember we got to MCT, and all the guides looked miserable as they stood in the same line as everyone else. No one gave a fuck. None of these guys became motivating hard chargers in the fleet. They essentially peaked at bootcamp.

Meanwhile dudes getting promoted quickly and winning boards were just the average recruit in bootcamp.

Why the world elites would never intentionally launch nukes. Being in a vault would actually suck ass.

Im in the Navy and thus on ships and ship life sucks. Especially on deployments. You could argue the elites in vaults would have better accommodations than even officers on navy ships but that doesn't change the fact you would be stuck in a vault for the rest of your life. The elites know vault would suck. Why would they give up their fancy travels and beach trips and open mansions for a crowded enclosure with no more natural sunlight.
I know we like to dress up as vault dwellers i even have the pip boy watch. But i would never want that life. Take me out with the nukes.

Sounds like a stupid system. There's no way you are paying out of pocket for other employees wages. There's no way you only make $3.75. Sounds like a bad restaurant to work for.

The tipping model should stay...

Most servers don't want the tipping model to change, so why the frack are we the customers trying to help them?. You know what. The tipping model should stay because then we get cheaper meals. Let pro tippers pick up the slack.

Was hoping this character would play a bigger role in the series

Very articulate and boss energy. Was hoping he would be someone lying about helping provide jobs to the native people but it reality it was just to make him richer. Something lex luthor would do. Sucks to see him die off so quickly.

Man, it's posts on these sub that makes not want to get out of the military. The civilian job market really is brutal.

I joined the military right after high school, did my 4 then got out. Thought there will be a smooth transition to good jobs getting but could not for the life of me find anything with a living wage from 2019-2022. It seems like the job market sucks now. The military can be long and stressful but at least i know i can do the job well, decent pay and a roof over my head.Just suck that i could never land my dream civilian job.

Not sure what yalls long term goal is, wether it's too make alot of money or land your dream job, i wish you guys good luck. I cannot risk leaving the military.

This security company really tried to mimic the same uniform and style color of the city police department and the logo.

Crazy...

Marine fleet life(pog or grunt) vs Navy sea duty fleet life which do you think sucks more? Anybody been in both branches?

It's definitely Navy ship life. Ill even take Marine grunt life as a nco than Navy sea duty as a nco.

People who respond to important work questions in work group chats and keep the convo going instead of privately responding to the person. Thus i keep getting constant notifications.

Occasionally a supervisor/manager(im military but just imagine supervisor or a manager) will ask an important work related question to the group chat. people start responding and having conversations and thus i get constant notifications and i don't want to mute the group chat because important notifications are put out and want to immediately see it. So i am stuck constantly checking my phone. Ive had to tell my guys RESPOND PRIVATELY. There's literally an option to do it.

If Customers who DONT tip are CHEAP...then customers who DO tip are not cheap, so why do you think they wouldn't pay more in menu prices?

People call non tippers cheap. So that means tippers are not cheap. So they WOULD pay a more expensive menu price.

If servers dislike non tippers so much, they should be for menu increases because non tippers would stop coming to restaurants. You don't ever have to worry about serving them. But in the chance they still come, at least servers know they will get something out of them.

If servers expect customers to tip, they should expect customers to pay increased menu prices.

For some reason, alot of pro tippers think if restaurants adopt increased menu prices and opt out of tipping. Restaurants would be ghost towns. In alot of countries. The restaurant pays full labor wages plus more in taxes. Their restaurants have increased menu prices to reflect that yet their restaurants are still busy and packed on weekends. Some US states like California have went/going through the same thing, yet customers STILL come to the restaurant to dine in. Businesses are paying more, customers are paying more, yet the restaurant still stays busy.

Why do pro tippers think a restaurant will immediately close down if they take away tipping and increase menu prices.

Have you ever seen a male higher rank creep on men in the Corps? Were they ever caught? I mean male Marine creeping on male Marines not female Marines.

There's alot of stories of guy Marines creeping on jr female Marines. What about a senior enlisted, officer creeping on male Marines?
