What did you guys think of S.K.'s video on Spider Man: Brand New Day?

As someone who enjoyed the film alot, I gotta say, he's got some good points, especially with Frank and Jean. Watching this made me feel so ignorant, but y'know, some people are more analytic and critical than others.

What was the most Fallout thing that happened to you in real life?

I take walks around my neighborhood often, and sometimes in the local park near my house. There were two times where I walked near this one bench and found around 13 to 16 Michealob Ultra bottlecaps.

Having a hard time creating a good build.

Been kind of all over the place with creating my character, as I've heard that New Vegas plays pretty differently from 3. In Fallout 3, Strength and Intelligence were my highest stats, Endurance Agility Perception at moderate, and Charisma and Luck at the lowest(Thanks to some beginner videos) Was thinking of going the same build for New Vegas, but from what I've been reading on here, people are suggesting that I heavly bump up luck and to lower some other stats(Primarly Strength and Intelligence). Anyway, I'm kind of lost on what to balance out(I know that you can't really balance out anything, as there's always a few drawbacks with the stats and perks you choose). Like I want to be highly intelligent, while also being pretty strong(Is carrying alot of loot worth it in here?), and to be a pretty skilled combatant, but I don't know. I just want to abel to play this game without stressing on what I could be possibly mission out on(In which they're probably be some stuff to miss out depending on my build priorites)

P.S. The three main skills I've chosen so far are Guns, Science, and Speech. Perks I'm choosing are goof natured and skilled

Any tips and tricks or other stuff I should know before starting New Vegas?

Finally got it to start working thanks to a Viva New Vegas video guide. Recently had completed Fallout 3, and really look forward to starting this one. Gonna wait a day or few to start to let the anticipation kick in.

I give Fallout 3 and 8.5/10, and hopefully this one elevates my passion for Fallout more.

Enjoying myself to some meat on sticks and coke after being morally conflicted with The Pitt DLC

-I didn't take the baby(I just couldn't take an innocent child)

-I was confused on who was bad and good and crap, so I looked on here to get some input, and I'm siding with Ashur for the most part. The only thing I'm not messing with is the slavery, and he better give them their freedom as soon as possible

-Need a few days or a week to recover from this. Hopefully I'll feel better by the time Spider Man: Brand New Day comes out

-How did all of you feel after completing this DLC?

-Overall, I ain't feeling too good right now. Just needed to vent a bit and give my quick thoughts

Are the DLC's for Fallout 3 worth it?

Just finished the main campaign for it, and overall I thought it was pretty good. Good world exploration, decent characters, good perks and upgrades, a light 7/10 for me. I'm tempted on continuing on with the DLC's for this game, but part of me also wants to go straight to New Vegas, and then straight to Fallout 4 after.

Been a Fallout fan since I was 9. I'm 20 now, and can't wait reexpeirence Fallout 4(This was my first time playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas)

First time playing and confused on what to do

Recently decided to give this game a shot, and I'm confused on what I should be doing next after completing the tutorial. I'm currently in front of the gatefront castle and the gatefront ruins, in which I've tried taking out the knights and failed many times. I then stumbled upon the limbgrave caves and got two stones while getting the hell out of there after dying so many times from the miners and rodents(Couldn't seem to parry them, neither could I to anyone yet). I don't really know what essential thing I should do next, and would really appreciate some advice and head ups. I understand that I'm just starting out(especially since this is my first souls game) and I'll get the hang of it, but still.

Fyi, I'm a vagabond, dropped my helmet and axe spear(whatever you call it), and I feel way lighter than beforehand when rolling. Still having trouble with the combat though.

Also, as I just posted this, I went to rest at the site of grace in front of the gatefront ruins, and this cutscnene played of this character named Melina making an offer. Leaving my computer for now to think if I should accept or not

Appreciate ya'll for your cooperation. Feel free to ask questions or ask for any clarification. Will ve glad to respond back

Can't comprehend alot of what I watch or play

Good day people. I'm a 20 year old college student trying to live a casual life and wanted share an issue that I've had for a while.

I can't seem to analyze, interpret, or comprehend alot of shows, movies, and games as efficiently as other people(mainly family and friends), in which has made me hesitant on starting alot of highly acclaimed shows, movies, and games as I've kinda been stressed out on whether I can do all of them on my own. For additional information, 70% percent of the time I watch stuff with my older brother and dad, and I feel they are able to interpret, analyze, and comment on stuff way better than I can. They can indicate more themes, character traits, who's good/bad/morally grey, different plot points alot faster than I can. A lot of the time, I'm zoned into my own daydreaming thoughts and wander off, and then I rely on their reactions to get me caught up or to realize what just happened. Often, I sometimes just can't decide on what I'm supposed to be paying attention to or not. I even feel guilty whenever I didn't catch this obvious detail or line, especially when it comes to determining the hero or villian, in which I feel immensely guilty when accidently go on the villian side, or when a character says or does something that is wrong, and I kinda just sit there with no reaction, or I if just mindlessly agree with what they did.

Now, I can form my own thoughts and reviews, but they're pretty small in terms of quantity, in which they only last a few sentences max. In addition, what I usually do is watch or play said piece of ficiton, form my short thoughts, and then go look at reviews, other's opinions, and even watch some YouTube reactions(Enhancing my experience personally). I would agree, disagree, acknowledge some good points, etc. I then would take some of those points, connect them to what I could find myself, and then paraphrase whoever points I agreed with in my own words. Thing is, I just don't wanna become so reliant on going online so much to see what other's and formulate my own opinion from those. It just makes question stuff like "Am I really this ignorant or stupid?" "Is my attention span this degraded?" "How could I have missed this?"

Anyway, just wanted to get my thoughts out and get some feedback and advice. I know Reddit ain't the most reliable, but still. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll be glad to respond, or if there's any clarification needed.

P.S. There could be a chance that I have OCD, so I don't know. Also, I've been feeling immensely fatigued for the past year and a half, and will be getting a sleep test to get that sorted out. Also, don't get it too twisted, as there's a ton of fiction out there that I take immense enjoyment into(Favorites include Invincible, The Bear, God of war, Doom, Daredevil, Punisher, Wolverine, Dispatch, Fallout, Breath of the wild)

Also forgot to mention that I've watched some shows and movies on my own in the past before

Are the Thorogood V series 8 inch work boots any good?

Been trying to look for a good light to midweight 8 inch work boot that could also resemble a combat boot. Is this brand any good? I'm a 7.5 and the smallest size I can find for these is an 8.

P.S. I got my foot measured at a red wing store one time, and both my feet came out to be 7.5 extra wide for both feet, and usually wear a regular for all shoes. I once got the red wing 2211 8 inch work boots in that size, and it felt pretty good, but eventually resold them since they felt a bit too bulked up for me. I currently have these goodfellow brown boots, bates black tactical boots, and timberland sawhorse boots in earth bandit, all in regular width, and they feel good still. I don't know, just been confused on my own foot sizing

I think I've stupid about the final paycheck, or not

I recently quit my package handler job at Ontrac a few weeks ago, and have been confused on why I haven't received my final paycheck. That is when I rechecked my wage history, and realized that I may be a bit ignorant. Mind you, I quit around the first week of June, so it's been about a few weeks since I stopped going into work.

While I worked there, I was also on the logistics payroll, where around $50-100 would automatically get deposited into my account. After I stopped going in, I was still receiving the payroll money for about two weeks, and I think it was either last week or the week before that when I last got payed from it. Anyhow, would that last payment have been my final paycheck?

Does being terminated without notice show up on your record?

Just curious. Stopped doing into work about a few weeks ago and waited until I got terminated.

Still haven't recieved final paycheck

Apologies if I keep posting this, I'm just confused. I recently quit my package handler job at Ontrac a few weeks ago without notice, and got fully terminated from Dayorce around last week. Final paycheck still hasn't shown up in my bank account or anything else, could it be that it's taking longer for them to process it, or are they just simply holding it back from me?

Fyi, I don't have contact with my boss

Final paycheck hasn't arrived yet

It's been around a week and a half since I got terminated, and still haven't gotten my final paycheck yet. Does it take a little more longer than a week?

Always feeling fatigued every day no matter what I do.

I'm a 20 year old college student, and for the past year or more, I always found that I'm always mildly or highly tired during the day, despite doing whatever I can to combat against it.

-I eat a moderately healthy diet

-Workout two to three times a day, while also getting 10,000-20,000 steps a day(I've actually been laying of workouts as of recent since I have surgery for an osteochondroma bone tumor that I have on my left knee, in which I don't know if that's causing some tiredness)

-I get around 7-9 hours of sleep a night(on average around 7.5 or 8)

-I've also been trying to sleep without any sound the best I can, but most times I give up and just have videos play in the background. And I do sometimes get carried away and use my phone right when I get up and listen to videos when doing my hygiene stuff, so that's possibly a factor

-I also recently quit a warehouse job, in which I was waking up at 2:30 am for 2 months on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so maybe a another temporary factor

-Been trying my best to limit screen time(Especially phone usage, although I'm oh my computer moderately each day, and my new desk has me sitting a tad bit closer to my monitor compared to my last one, so that could be a potential indicator)

-Got a bloodtest, in which everything was normal

-Started taking a magneosum supplement before bed(In which the food tracking app I use showed that for about a year, I've only been getting around 97 MG of magneisum, in which the max I need is 400 MG, and the supplement I'm taking has 250 mg. I've only been taking it for around a week or so, so probably will take some time to adjust.

-I also stopped taking Zyrtec, in which my doctor advised that I stay off of it since it can cause fatigue

-In terms of mental health, it's pretty good. Yeah I have higher anxiety days, but not too hard. I live a pretty simple life. I don't go out often, as I just mind my business, go on my phone and computer, relax, play games, occasionally what a show or movie, read occasionally, take naps, and try to do some house productivity whenever I can(Could be that I'm burned out or bored alot of the time) Thing is, I actually plan to go put more often(Mini self adventures), especially with some friends and some new ones I recently made, and I want to feel energized for these

The last thing my doctor advised me to do was to get a sleep test, in which I plan on scheduling within the next week or so, so it's possible that sleep apnea and thyroid issues are the possible problem, in which I've never thought I'd have

What do you all think? Got any other recommendations? I just really want to figure out why I'm like this and want to be at my full capacity. I can still function pretty efficiently, but I just feel like I'm being held back with how fatigued I always am each day. Once I find out the reason, I feel as if I'm gonna be able to stay more engaged with what I'm doing and think more critically and cognitively more than ever(Unless I'm exaggerating too much)

Gonna start watchin this

I started Breaking Bad all the way back in summer 2022 after my sophomore year of highschool, and it was a pretty good time watching I'd say. Thing is, it did feel like a forceful watch for me, especially with how pop culturally pressured I felt at the time. To be fair, I was on my phone alot when watching it, so kinda took away from the experience a bit. It took me around a year and a half to finish it, in which that was because I delayed immensely on watching it, but I remember watching the last few episodes of season 5 and thought "Now this is why this is considered the greatest show of all time". Years pass, and I've been watching some clips of it from back to back, along with some analysis videos, and I had completely forgot how great the show was, while realizing that there was so much that I forgot that happened.

Anyway, I'm now a 20 year old college student and I've been meaning to start Better Call Saul for a bit, but kept delaying it of course, as I don't want to force myself to watch it when I didn't feel the mood to do so. Well, now that I've improved my mental health quite a bit, I'm for once actually in a show/movie watching mood. I've heard this is just as good as breaking bad and has so many other fond characters. Overall, I'm hyped to start the show, and look forwaed to rewatching alot of the memes I've seen. Is there anything I should know when starting this?

Fyi, I'm not the most analytical person at all(Which has been one of my biggest insecurities as of recent) and I'm not even that smart. My attention spans pretty decent, but I've been trying to slowely improve on day by day(Using phone less, silencing my thoughts and shifting my engagement to what's happening in what I'm watching). I'll try to be engaged with the show and form my own opinions as best as I can.
