Does your breath smell after you eat sardines

I eat sardines everyday for lunch at work. I never realized my breath stunk until the other day. I was out with my mom waiting in line and a young woman with a small baby was in line ahead of us. I said something to my mom and I guess she did not pick up it was my breath. She whispered to me yuck I think that baby in front of us pooped their pants. I quietly said because I didn't want the woman to hear, I don't smell anything and my mom didn't hear so I leaned in closer and whispered it to her. She said oh my god it's your breath that smells like shit I thought it was the baby. I ate a tin of sardines probably 5 minutes prior. I am crazy and drink the water or oil out of the tin afterwords too so I get all of the flavors. Now I am paranoid my breath has smelled like shit everyday when I am at work. This happened over a weekend. I also eat king oscar, a more expensive brand btw.

Am I an asshole for gatekeeping my music playlists/tastes to my brother?

I (25M) have been on a journey to expand music knowledge for the past year and a half.

So far I have listened to over 400 albums, and this summer, before rolling to college to pursue my Master's degree in cinema and modern medias, I decided to spend the summer listening to an album per day and rate it on a small list of mine to pass the time.

Here's the problem: My brother (31M) is also really passionate about music, and it comes to a point where he can get obnoxious.

A few years ago he was friends with a guy that calling him performative would be a huge understatement. He constantly talked about music like he had a degree in music and always had the hottest takes in terms of music to be a contrarian ON PURPOSE.(Dude was also an unironic fan of Shane Dawson...that one didn't age quite so well.)

This guy kept talking about "chords, rhythm, flow, feelings" and used terms that came out straight out of a thesaurus.

Like, one day he gave me a whole lecture on Chord progressions of Giant Steps while we were in the car, and I was so tired from the night out and just wanted something to chill to and go to sleep, while he constantly bragged about "I know how chord progressions go! I just do it on the fly since I'm so good!"

And my brother, being the high functioning autistic man he is, sucked up this approach to music like a sponge.

Now, eventually we broke ties with this person for reasons outside of music, but my brother never left this way to review and talk about music.

Always talking about it like it's trying his hardest to describe things in the most high brow, pretentious way possible, even if he doesn't mean it that much anymore, he just doesn't know how to express himself, or at least that's what he says.

And to top it off, he always wants my playlists because he wants to listen to them too and "rate them".

Same thing with the list of albums that I saved that I want to listen throughout the summer and in the nearby future.

And I never, ever want to share them.

I don't think it's a fear of being judged, I hate talk about shit like he is a know it all, in the most pretentious way I don't think even music reviewers with a masters degree in music do.

So, I am asking you all, am I an asshole for keeping my playlists and my music to myself, and talking about music to him to a minimum?

I know, I know, I could've been posting this in r/AITAH but I felt more at home in a place where other people talk about music to a daily.

TL;DR: My older brother talks about music in a try hard, annoying way and it makes me want to gatekeeping my stuff, but I feel bad for not sharing.

Can someone please ban angrypandablog

I’m so tired of seeing their sexual spam comments on nearly every. single. post. They add literally NOTHING of value to anyone’s conversations and they make so many of us extremely uncomfortable.

And the mod’s suggestion is that WE block them.. why should hundreds of us have to block someone.. the simple solution would be to get rid of the single person causing all the problems
