HISTORY: The ancient capital of Hungary was Buda, specifically the hill that now houses the castle, called Óbuda, meaning Old Buda, separated from Pest by the Danube. The first recorded flags of Buda and Pest date back to 1703, featuring two tricolors: one red, white, and green, and the other blue, yellow, and red. With the merger of the two cities, a coat of arms and a flag were created. This was a horizontal tricolor with the same colors as Pest, reversed, that is, with the red facing up. It was adopted on May 29, 1873, and confirmed on September 21 by King Franz Joseph.

The colors, taken from the coat of arms of Transylvania, symbolized unity with Hungary during the 1848 revolution. That same year, Romania also adopted the same colors. From then on, the flag gained a bad reputation, being confused with the Romanian flag during international visits to the city, culminating when Romania occupied the Hungarian capital in 1919. For these reasons, in 1930, the blue band was replaced by a green one; the city's coat of arms also appeared in the center. This lasted until 1949.

The socialist regime banned all forms of symbolism, with one exception starting in 1970: a white flag bearing a simplified version of the coat of arms in socialist regalia; It lasted until 1989. From 1990, the year after the fall of the regime, the traditional colours of the city returned to fly until 2011, when, after a flag that lasted only a few months, a new version still flies over the Hungarian capital.

Metró tájékoztatás: 1-es

Nem jar a 4-es metro a fél vonalán, azonban ezt az információt csak akkor mondják be a többi vonalon, amikor az (pl. M3-as) a Kálvin térre ér, és éppen átszállnék az M4-re, Kelenföld irányába. Segítség semmi, atszalltam a 47-es villamosra, majd a szent Gellért térnél vissza az M4-re. Lekestem a Bécsbe menő vonatomat. Új vonatjegy egy másik járatra €50. Köszi, BKK, egyszer csak elférsz a XXI. századba.

My first shock of calorie counting

I’ve been gaininf weight in the last weeks because of emotional issues and for ‘fun’, I checked my calories data. My BMR is 1440 kcal and as a sedentary woman, I’m burning 1770 kcal according to the app. I thought I should do 1500 kcal days. Today I calculated how many calories I’ve been eating and it’s 2500 😱. That’s a 1000 calories more than what I should be eating. How do I eat 1000 calories less, that’s a huge difference!

I can’t do any sports because of joint issues except walking.

  • a határon túli támogatási rendszert,

  • az egyházi közvetítő hálózatokat,
