Found my dream 1980s suit at Turn Back The Clock Shop in Miami, Florida! This suit was handmade and fits me perfectly, which is rare cause I’m petite in stature. Whoever wore it must’ve been a carbon copy of me cause even the shoulders and length of the waist fit perfectly! I’ve been wanting a bright yellow suit like this for almost ten years now. This was well worth the wait! 💛

I am replacing elastic on a vintage shirt. I tend to make everything more complicated than it should be so of course I’ve had to seam rip the new elastic twice already. 🫠🤣
What is the best way of reattaching the elastic? Thank you!

(Sorry I don’t have normal pics, I dress 70s and 80s everyday lol) Do I have a short torso? I know my legs are short, cause I’m 5ft lol. I’ve always had a bit of dysmorphia with my body, sometimes it’s worse, sometimes it’s better. I was just wondering perhaps if a short torso could be to blame for my, in my mind, “squished” appearance? Crop tops are not that cropped on me and my 80s mom jeans definitely go over my ribs some. In conjunction with my disproportionately wider hips, I’m really not winning at greatest genes. Even when I was underweight due to a medical condition my hips didn’t get that smaller, it was all upper body. Also, 104-108 is where I tend to feel my best and have the most energy. ❤️

Just got this a a thrift store. I don’t plan on using it, just a prop for photos and such. Patent is from 1962 but this appears to be from the 1970s. Opened the inside cause is very stained with old crusty food lol. Is the white stuff asbestos?

Hi! Was wondering about being able to use this camcorder again? Was purchased by my family in 1989. Has battery, AC adaptor, etc. nothing is missing and as far as I know, it was well taken care of.
