Follow up dumb paint question

Posted yesterday but have done some tests and gained a lot more info on what I can manage. So now I’m wondering if this will work.

I have a typical little temp and humidity reader hanging exactly in the center of my paint booth. I can use basically an entire spray bottle to soak the walls and floor, then have a steam cleaner running and keep it moving fast in the booth for maybe 10 minutes. Then, I can get 48% humidity max. If I turn the exhaust fan on, humidity goes back to 10% in about 4-5 minutes. The only other info needed is that this is 2K rattle cans, and it’s a literal one project use so I don’t need a more permanent set up at this time.

The plan is to spray after doing what I described, then do the steam while it’s off gassing for 10-15 minutes. It’s going to be really annoying and not perfect. But for a one project use, technically this will have a much better chance of succeeding? Not sure how air flows or humidity so idk if the levels will be wildly different throughout the booth

2k clear coat humidity question

Please help! :)
About to spray some 2k. It’s only 10% humidity here and 80 degrees. I can up the humidity for very little time because of the fan running when spraying. Does anybody have experience with the 40-60% being super important? As in can anyone get away with spraying in my environment with a slightly altered method?

Virgin: The Last Hotel Stealing Marijuana

Virgin is the last hotel on planet earth, but especially Vegas, that is stealing unopened and legally obtained marijuana products from your pockets. What motivation is there for this? Products not being consumer not being opened… legally held in a pocket? What con artist is running this game?

Anyway, security isn’t very tight lipped about why they do it after hours.

Bands: stay away from Virgin. It’s a venue so corrupt it can hurt your bands reputation.

Dumb question

Hey everyone!

I have a dumb question involving a bookmatched maple piece I have for a Les Paul build. The problem is that it’s slightly warped and to actually flatten it would remove too much wood. If all else fails, I’ll just flatten it and then add a piece of another contrasting wood for the binding effect, ultimately saving me time. And making it more unique.

But I’m wondering about steaming wood flat. I’ve heard it works some times, others it doesn’t. Other people say it’s a temp fix that always goes back to where it was. Is there any legit use for flattening wood without cutting or sanding it? It’s planed as is. It’s at about 16.7mm now.

Dumb ideas I have: heating two steel plates with wood between them and clamping for a few days, reapplying heat periodically. Steam too.

Does anyone know if security at the Virgin confiscates pens and edibles? I saw a show there a few years ago and they literally took our unopened edibles and pens. Just wondering because that’s super out of the ordinary for every other venue here

I need to make a one off silicon mold for a prototype. May need more later but yet 100%.

I’m wondering if it’s dangerous to make a diy pressure chamber with a pressure cooker, or just sealing a box and using one of those wine saver things to remove air. I don’t need it to be industrial quality, just good enough
