I’ve used the search feature and would like some personal feedback. I have DDD with bilateral radiculopathy at BVA, it was docketed Oct 12 2025. I know these things take time but I would like to know how long it took for Direct appeals to be assigned to a law judge?

Also does the VA.gov app/site update immediately after being assigned? Or are you only seeing an update when the decision is made? Thanks for a stories of your own experience!

I want to share a strange thing with my gun and see if anyone also experiences it.

While dry firing training with a red dot mounted, I pull the trigger gently and the dot moves/bounces slightly to the left. I switch from right to left handed and still the same thing happens. I’ve tried several pull methods, resting on a bag, holding the dot frame, you name it. My red dot is brand new, and no issues with it.

I called S&W and they recommended I send it in. I do get the same one or two fliers out of each magazine like many people report. This happened with the factory trigger and the Apex trigger.

Any ones else experience this? What was the fix? Is it worth sending to S&W since reliability is 100%? TIA

I am looking for some conversation and range/competition feedback on the trigger for the newest version of this S&W. I ordered my holster and mag bases, and need to know if I should just order the APEX trigger or run the factory as is for a while. My plan is USPSA and some IDPA.

Well… this escalated quickly. I went from having 3 Glocks (17, 19, 43) to buying my first M&P 2.0 (4.25) last year. Gave all three Glocks to my son when he turned 21. Then within the last month I purchased a 3.6 polymer and a M&P 2.0 Competitor HD.

Added apex triggers to all, and just ordered an Apex barrel for the 3.6 and 4.25. Am I bit?

Well i needed to see what the “premium” system costs for my home purpose. What I asked for was a pre filter, whole home carbon filter for chloramine and their ideal water softener for my family of 4, 2200 sq foot home with 3 bathrooms.

All in for the install is 7,100 dollars. Holy smokes. That’s a no. lol

I need input on my DIY install. Newer home, built in 2018. Water main entry point in basement, directly above main shutoff valve, the line branches off to sprinklers and outside spigots. Main line runs across my basement about 50 ish feet to mechanical area where it gets plumbed to water heater. Basement is not finished however builder covered basement ceiling with drywall, so I can’t follow lines to see if the main line has t’s in it for guest bathroom and powder room.

I am installing a Backwash type carbon whole home filter, followed by a water softener. My first challenge is the point closest to main valve has no floor drain options. My mechanical area has the floor drain for the HVAC and water heater, however if I install system here, I might not have treated water to bathroom and powder room.

1. Is it common to have cold water branches to home before the water is supplied to water heater inlet?

2. If I install nearest mechanical, is the only option to run a treated line all the way across basement to main distribution point closest to main water branch off (nearest to water main entry to basement)?
