I’ve been using TIDAL for about four months after spending roughly 10 years with Spotify.
Overall, I’m really happy I switched. There’s a lot TIDAL does better, but there are also some surprisingly annoying little things that you only really notice once you use it every day.
Thought I’d put together my pros and cons so far, especially the stuff I’d love to see TIDAL improve.
Overall, I still prefer TIDAL and don't see myself going back to Spotify anytime soon. Most of my complaints are small quality-of-life issues rather than dealbreakers, but fixing them would make the experience feel a lot more polished.
I'd be interested to hear what other long-term TIDAL users think - what does TIDAL do better than other services, and what still annoys you?
Watching the God Gamer Gauntlet, I kept thinking:
Someone should figure out Ludwig’s lifetime win/loss record across every game he’s ever played.
Go back through all the videos and streams and track every game with a record where it makes sense.
Then you’d end up with a list of:
Best win rates
Worst win rates
Games he’s secretly insane at
Games he should probably never touch again
Games where he’s improved over the years
Games where he only thinks he’s good
It’d actually be useful for the Gauntlet. Instead of picking games based on vibes, he’d have years of data telling him where he’s statistically strongest.
It also feels like the kind of video Ludwig would enjoy:
Video title: I Analyzed Every Game I’ve Ever Played…
I just think it’d be really fun to see the numbers
I’ve been craving that satisfying, "plinko" style gameplay that Peggle mastered. Does anyone have recommendations for games that share that same addictive feel.
For when you want to switch your brain off and just enjoy the scenery.
