Hello, looking for people close to my age (28+, any gender) to play some games and have a laugh with, as none of my friends share my interest in games. I collect consoles, so I have a few options and I do have a gaming laptop, but it's like ten/twelve years old, so can only really player older/low end games (I primarily use steam).

Mostly looking for TESO/GTAO but I'll list some of the games I have below.

Main multiplayers I'm on at the moment:

- TESO (just picked it up, main thing I'm playing at the moment) (PS5)

- Spacemarine 2 (PS5)

- GTAO (would love to run the 4P heists) (PS5)

- Palia (the manliest of games, fight me) (PS5)

Multiplayers I have ready to go:

- Mario Kart 8 Delux (Switch)

- Mario + Rabids (Switch)

- Minecraft (all)

- Borderlands (1, 2 & presequel = PC/PS3/4 BL3 PS5/Switch)

Games I have but aren't installed:

- sniper elite 3-5 (PC)

- Lego (most of them, PC)

- wreckfest (PC/PS5)

- Darktide (PS5)

- RDR2 (PS5)

- Tiny Tina's Wonderlands (PS5)

So, I'm going to stone dead for the first time this year and the only people I know who are going are my arl fella and his missus, but they're both going to be working it. My social skills aren't what they used to be (and in waiting on an AUDHD screening) so I was hoping to get to know a few people before going, so I don't end up awkwardly standing on my Todd the whole time and floating around me old man.

Couldn't see this asked already, that may just me being bad at looking, but basically, I'm currently running the stock frimwear v1.1.4 and I'm getting ready to update.

Seeing as I'm looking to update anyway, I'm weighing up the options for other OSs. The only one so far I know I don't want is the minimalist one, but I have a few questions about the new ones.

Stock v1.2.4. Main questions:

What's the highest power games people have gotten running comfortably, is it still N64/PS1/DC?

Can you run 3DS games on it, or is that a hardware limitation?

What's it like for ports/portmaster, would love to get something like morrowind running.

(possibly stupid question) do I need a new SD card or to reformat the one I've got if it's alresdy 32fat, or can I just clear it and dump the new files on? I already have two backups in seperate locations, one in an ready to run SD and one on my pc. It's just every install video in finding is saying to use a new one or to format the other.

Other OS questions:

Which software allows me to play the highest demand games? (unless of course this is more of a hardwear issue) (some id like to run, but think may be hardwear restrictions but don't know enough myself are things like 3DS, N-Gage/2.0

Which ones have all of the base functions (WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI output, etc) because I've heard they don't all have those features

Which is the easiest to set up?

I should still have my original disk lying around somewhere, if I have, is there a way of playing it without emulating?

If not, what's the best software for emulating this wonderful game? (I am not opposed to making like it's 1666 if necessary)

Has anyone managed to get any of The Elder Scrolls games to run on this? If so, what's the most recent one you got working? I'm guessing it would be a Portmaster job if so or can I run them stock?
