What are room checks like at Hubbard?

Just wondering what the standard procedure is, how often and how invasive, I’ve heard from some people that they can be pretty over the top, wanted to see if you all agree.

Is there a way I can maintain self respect and not leave?

My 18M girlfriend 18F has been nothing short of wonderful so far in our relationship, we have been together about 6 months and she’s everything I could possibly ask for, beautiful, sweet, thoughtful, and actually cares about me, or has seemed to up until this point.

She is a summer camp counselor and has recently gotten back from a few weeks there in which we had very little communication. I am currently on a trip with some of my friends (all guys) about 13 hours away.

A little bit of history here is that I know she has cheated in a previous relationship, but that said, it was a short make out and then she ended her relationship the next day, she has however also made comments in the past about not seeing it as that morally wrong, just more not worth it for the sake of ruining the relationship which has always fucked with my head a lot.

Yesterday she tells me she’s going to hang out with some of the other camp counselors, which turned out to just be two guys. They were going to hang at one of their houses and go rock climbing, that was the plan I was given, I have not spoken to her since yesterday morning and now at almost 9 am she is still at his house. I have never met either of these guys and I don’t know that it matters what she says, I will never know what happened last night, I don’t think I can keep my self respect and not cut things off, but it just hurts so bad because she’s been so wonderful.

Is there a scenario I 18M can stay with my gf 18f and retain an ounce of self respect?

Edit: I should also add, she’s supposed to be going on a trip with my family and I in 2 weeks

My (19M) girlfriend (19F) finally got home after months apart, and where do I go from here?

My girlfriend and I are both 19. She works about 3 hours away during the summer, and with the type of job she has she can’t really text much, so we’ve had very little communication over the last couple of months. Then when she finally got home, I was away on a trip with my friends, so our timing has just been awful.
Now that we’re finally both back, we’ve only hung out once, and her friend was with us the whole time. I like her friend, so it wasn’t a bad day or anything, but I was really hoping we’d get some one-on-one time after not seeing each other for so long.
We had plans to do that today after she dropped her friend off around 2. She left me on delivered from about 11:30 until 3:30, and when she finally answered, it was just to tell me she was going to dinner and the mall with another friend. She said if I really wanted to see her, I could drive about 30 minutes each way to pick her up, hang out for a little bit, and then drop her back off.
I told another friend I’d probably hang out with him instead, and I sent my girlfriend another message after that. As I’m writing this, she’s left me on delivered for another two hours.
The thing is, this isn’t just about today. I’ve felt like we’ve been drifting apart for a while, and I’ve tried bringing it up before. She says she’s just really burned out from work, which I honestly believe, and part of me wants to give her some time to adjust now that she’s home.
The problem is that I’m leaving on a week-long trip in a few days, and after that there’s only a short window before I leave for college. It feels like we’re running out of opportunities to actually spend quality time together before life gets even busier.
At the same time, I still care about her a lot, but I honestly don’t feel like I really know her anymore. Today kind of pushed me over the edge, but I also don’t want to make a decision based on one bad day. Before this summer, things were genuinely great between us, and I honestly think if we could spend some quality time together again after she’s had a chance to decompress, we could get back to that.
The part that’s making this difficult is my last relationship. My ex was incredibly flaky, and I stayed way longer than I should have. Because of that, I know I might be more sensitive to situations like this than most people, and I’m having a hard time figuring out whether my reaction is coming from today or from past experiences.
I’m not really sure where to go from here. Part of me wants to give her some time because I know she’s exhausted, but another part of me is worried that if things don’t change soon, we’re going to head off to different colleges without ever really reconnecting. I’m just looking for some outside perspective.

First bad trip, set and setting

Yesterday I took 1.3 grams of Blue Storm, lemon tekked. It was a particularly potent batch, and I'd compare the intensity to about 4 grams of Golden Teachers.

I took them with my girlfriend, who I hadn't seen in about a month because she'd been away. Up until recently, we'd had a rock-solid relationship. For the first time in six months, there was a bit of tension between us. Nothing major things just felt a little off. I tried to ignore that feeling and thought tripping together might help us reconnect. Looking back, I should have thought that through a little more.
I already knew mushrooms affect us very differently. They almost immobilize me. I could sit and stare at the same wall for the entire trip and be perfectly content. She has almost the opposite reaction she gets energized and wants to explore.

Normally that's fine, but we have a lot of breakable things around the house, including some of my mother's artwork. If anything had happened to it, it would have been devastating. Looking back, I don't actually think she would have broken anything, but at the time I was also tripping, and that worry, combined with the tension I'd already been feeling, pushed me over the edge.

I asked her not to wander around, and I could tell it upset her. From there, I just spiraled. For the next while, I became convinced I was destined to die alone, that no one would ever love me, and that I was going to have to break up with her after the trip.

Eventually, I was able to just ride it out. It became bearable. I'm still a little shaken by it, but it reminded me how important set and setting are. Yesterday just wasn't the right time to trip. I won’t make that mistake again.

For anyone wondering, we did not break up. We talked everything through afterward, and everything is okay now. It was just a really rough few hours.

Getting ready to head back to college and want to be in peak performance, my current stack, suggestions welcome.

So as I said, I’m getting ready to head back to college this fall and would like some advice on how I should adjust my stack or confirmation that it’s good for peak physical and mental condition, open to supplements or lifestyle changes, not peptides or anything like that at this time. 18M about 175 and roughly 13% bf. Workout daily. And eat generally clean. Also have recently started to prioritize sleep and get a minimum of 7.5 hours, usually a bit more.

Current stack:
10g creatine - morning
1200mg lions mane FB - morning
Multivitamin - morning
Caffeine + L theanine - 90 minutes after waking
300mg bacopa monnieri - evening
920 mg ashwagandha root - evening
Magnesium- evening

Psilocybin - occasionally roughy every 3-4 weeks

Finally everything came together

Just graduated high school and it’s been quite a journey from incredibly depressed and cutting in 8th grade, dreading every day to where I am today, my life is by far the best it’s ever been and I know it’s going to keep getting better.

Starting at the beginning in 8th grade I can’t even remember what it was that got me to that position in life but coming out of covid I was a mess, during the pandemic all I did was play video games and drink mtn dew, which is the dream for some but so lonely after months of nothing but that. As a result of all this I was not only struggling with mental health but also physical.

As cringy as it sounds the beginning of change for me was when a David goggins video popped into my yt shorts feed, and I started exercising, I quickly fell into a different hole that was a horrible body image but still an improvement.

Skipping forward to the end of freshmen year I was a lot more confident and in pretty good shape as well as getting much better grades, I started a dual enrollment program at my school to get college credits early. And started talking to a girl who I dated for 2 years.

Jumping forward again to the beginning of senior year I kept improving my life steadily but there were issues in my relationship, we fought constantly and looking back it was much more toxic than I realized, I almost ended things after she bailed on Christmas with my family because she “had a headache” (this was a very common occurrence) she flaked out on my family probably 80% of the time and she had a habit of picking fights over things like: “you were annoyed with me 2 days ago” “what?” “You had a look and I can tell”

After almost 2 years she cheated, we broke up and even though things were so bad, it broke me, I was mentally destroyed and spent about a month depressed again, I couldn’t really think straight, wasn’t sleeping really at all and my grades suffered but I could do the gym so that’s what I did for about 3 hours a day and just stared at the ceiling the rest of the time.

As time went on it got easier and I got into a really nice flow of life, pulled my grades back and started really focusing on health and building real friendships my plan was to wait until college to date again.

This was a great plan and all until I was on a ski trip with my family and got a message from a girl I hadn’t seen since middle school and really never even talked to then. I’m not sure why I even responded, I’d had a few other girls that I see no real issue with make moves and I ignored them, but for some reason I responded to her message, and she asked me out the same night, which again I have no idea why I agreed to, but it was one of the best decisions of my life. We’ve been together for almost 6 months now and she’s all I could have ever dreamed of. Within the first few weeks of dating I had a crammed 2 weeks between work and school and was trying to tell her I wasn’t really sure I had time to see her, for a little bit which would have been a HUGE fight in past relationships but instead she said “hey do what you need to do, I’m not going anywhere” something I’d never heard before and that’s when I knew I had something special. And it’s just gotten better from there, instead of sapping away all my energy like I thought all relationships did, she pushes me further and makes me a better person.

I’m finally genuinely happy with my life in all aspects, and can’t wait for each day, graduated in the top 10 GPAs in my class out of 250 and am finally in near perfect health.

First time posting here, thanks for reading :)

Where do I go from here?

Yesterday I did my third dose of mushrooms and finished up what I had left of my b+, in a few weeks I plan on getting some albino riptide to experiment with, and yes I know the potency is much higher. All 3 of my trips so far have been profound in different ways. The first one was at home with my best friend and taught me to be more in the moment, the second was in the woods with my girlfriend, and it brought us closer, and yesterdays was alone in my bedroom the most intense trip so far, and although it was the least “pleasant” of the 3 it taught me about gratitude and made me more appreciative.

Although these have been amazing I feel like somehow I’m missing something, is there anything I can or should try to open myself up a bit more or even figure out what it is I’m missing.

Something I don’t see a lot on here, shrooms helping with addiction/depression

I’d like hear what you all think about this as it’s a bit different from the culture I often see on here. I have been kind of lurking in this community and a few others as well as listening to podcasts and even reading some medical journals. That said I am not yet experienced so I am reaching out for a little bit of help here.

Recently I was finally able to get my hands on some(8g b+) I myself am in a generally very good mental place, I’m looking for answers on a few things, but if I don’t get them that’s okay.

The reason I’m bringing this up is because my girlfriend, who i plan to do my second trip with, is struggling a little bit lately, with both a little bit of anxiety and depression as well as getting over an addiction to self harm. From what I know, if she’s willing to go deep, and I believe she is, this has the potential to be really beneficial for her.

What are your thoughts on this, and if you think this is a good idea, what should she/we do to optimize the experience?

Planning on lemon tekking 2g but I am open to other suggestions.

Thank you all for your input :)

Is lemon tekking for my first time okay?

Would it be fine to lemon tek my first time, maybe 1g GT lemon tekked just because I don’t want it to last quite so long. Or is this a bad idea?
