How are people actually balancing group assignments when everyone has different schedules?
Trying to figure out what works best because coordinating times is becoming harder than the work itself.
What’s the most expensive plumbing surprise you’ve had at home?
I’ve had a hot water system fail out of nowhere before and the bill hurt way more than expected. Blocked drains, leaks, burst pipes, small issues seem to become expensive very quickly. What was your “this is going to cost me” plumbing moment?
Referred my sister to Up and we both got paid and she didn't even have to switch fully
She just opened it as a second account, chucked some money in, did a few transactions and we both got the bonus. Took her less than a day. If you've got family or mates who are curious, it's a dead easy sell. Not a bad little earner.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve pulled out of a drain?
Some stories are genuinely horrifying. What’s the strangest thing you’ve found?
To the Exercise/Nutrition students: is the $1500 Excellence Program worth the 12-week grind?
I saw the applications for the 12-week research program just opened for "top-performing" undergrads. $1500 sounds like a lot of grocery money, but "research excellence" sounds like a massive addition to an already heavy workload. If you did this last year, did it actually help your CV, or was it just 12 weeks of unpaid lab labor for a small payout at the end? I need to decide if I’m applying before the T2 rush starts.
Are all group assignments as bad as people say? Do you prefer group assignments of individual?
My cousin wants a new laptop. Should we buy one right now wait for the sale.
