So I recently watched a video about playing fallout 1 for the first time and it made me want to play it, I learned that it was a very difficult game and that certain aspects of the gameplay are “very outdated and frustrating” so do you guys have a patch that fixes all of this and can you tell me all the very hard moments and how to pass them (I sadly already spoild myself the whole story so I don’t care about spoilers

Hello, I am very "techy" and I want to make a homemade mp3 player, I want to put music via a micro sd card slot, I have airpods so it needs bluetooth capabilities, just in case a jack port, usb-c charging, very good battery life and a little low resolution screen. and 10 buttons including a ipod wheel. I am not afraid to code.

Has anyone already done something similar under 50bucks (also I will use PCB way or an alternative to design and print the shell.)

I heard that some streaming servicies use DRM and there are problems on linux, do you have any idea of taking care of that, if not I will just make a VM

So I will install bazzite on my upgraded optiplex 3020 to do game emulation and a replacement to the os of my smart TV.

Do you have softwares that have the tv style UI’s for Youtube, Netflix, Disney + and prime video that can show in 1080p, It should have a Icon in bazzite. Thank you very much for all the people that will help

So I don’t know if it’s because of that but two days ago, I unscrewed the screws on the laptop, kinda opened it with a credit card, but I was to afraid of continuing, so I put everything back together, the trackpad worked fine right after.

Today It does not work, not moving the mouse or clicking, what happened.

So I have a RTX 3060 and I installed the “nvidia” version of pop os. But I am upgrading to a RX 9060 XT, do I just do the change and it will just work fine, help me please.

We all know that in general linux is not plug znd and play.

hello fellow builders I need help upgrading. I am going from my RTX 3060 to a RX 9060 XT and I need help Can I just use the keyboard that I already have connected to my power supply and graphics card by power supply is non-modular just to know and like do I need an adapter or in every case it’s it works just fine. It’s always the same exact exact cable that needs to go in the graphics card. It says standard or it’s not and I am going to fry my GPU if I am not lucky.

So now I have a RTX 3060 and I have two questions :

Question 1 : How do I update drivers, I haven't searched a lot but I haven't seen the nvidia app.

Question 2 : So I have the special version for nvidia but this summer I am going to upgrade to a RX 9060 XT, do I have to reinstall the os with the right iso ?

So everytime I launch a game, it says Vulkan shader compiling, It can be fast but also very long, that is why I most of the time skip it.

Question 1 : on counter strike 2 most of the time my weapons and hands are glitching black, how do I take care of that

Question 2 : Is it possible to just not having to compile shaders like on windows
