Just picked up a POF Tombstone last night. Cool looking cowboy space gun. My concern is POF ships these things dry. Or practically dry. I can’t cycle the lever action very easily and it makes a bad metal on metal sound. The manual tells you to lube it well with light oil after the initial cleaning. My question is why don’t they lube it before packing it. It’s not a cheap toy. It was pretty expensive. The manual also states it takes around 250 rounds to break in the action. Buyer beware I guess. I’ll let you know in 251 rounds.

I recently obtained my Certificate of Relief from Civil Disabilities to posses long arms from the county court that convicted me of a non violent felony 18 years ago. If the store I go to uses the NYNICS system I should be okay. If I go to a chain store like Sportsman Warehouse that uses the federal NICS system will I be able to purchase from that store? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
