Best gun shop in the capital district.
I’ve lived in the capital district my whole life. Recently we stopped at Glenville Gun Center on Freeman’s Bridge Road in Scotia. If you want the absolute best selection , great pricing and incredibly knowledgeable staff this is the place. It’s clean , professional and full of done of the best brands there is out there. Stopped by today and impulse bought a Tikka T1x 17HMR for a great price. You should at least check it out.

Visiting Wyoming from the worst state for guns , NY. I can walk into a Sportsman Warehouse and buy 500 rounds of 9mm and show no id. But try and buy a lottery ticket in this state and you need a picture id. 🤔

POF Tombstone mixed feelings
Just picked up a POF Tombstone last night. Cool looking cowboy space gun. My concern is POF ships these things dry. Or practically dry. I can’t cycle the lever action very easily and it makes a bad metal on metal sound. The manual tells you to lube it well with light oil after the initial cleaning. My question is why don’t they lube it before packing it. It’s not a cheap toy. It was pretty expensive. The manual also states it takes around 250 rounds to break in the action. Buyer beware I guess. I’ll let you know in 251 rounds.

Why is Harley so arrogant that dealers won’t post pricing on their websites. This is one small example of why Harley is struggling . I have a 2014 Ultra Classic and love it. But I refuse to play the game of thief rules and fuck the consumer.

ICE gets their cover blown in Troy, NY 😂
Got woken up at 7 this morning to people shouting because they spotted an ICE vehicle and were purposely trying to blow their cover. Whoever the ICE agent was, was so angry he argued back before driving away 😂

Will my NYS COR allow me to purchase at a shop that uses the Federal System?
I recently obtained my Certificate of Relief from Civil Disabilities to posses long arms from the county court that convicted me of a non violent felony 18 years ago. If the store I go to uses the NYNICS system I should be okay. If I go to a chain store like Sportsman Warehouse that uses the federal NICS system will I be able to purchase from that store? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
