After that, she moved to my hometown and started living just 500 meters away from my home. 🏘️ I live in a proper town, while they come from a very backward village background.

​👿 The Main Problem (Boundaries & Privacy Breach):

​The bhabhi has a 13–14 year old son who is extremely stubborn, ill-mannered, and has severe behavioral issues. 🤯

​💻 Night Shift WFH: I work night shifts in an international BPO, so I sleep during the day. 😴

​🚪 Direct Room Entry: This boy forces our front gate open every single day and directly enters my bedroom upstairs without any hesitation, courtesy, or shame! 🚷

​🤬 Zero Respect: No relative or friend in my entire life has ever crossed boundaries like this. His extreme over-frankness and lack of respect are the root cause of everything. He enters my room, misbehaves, speaks rudely, and actively tries to irritate me in ways I can’t even describe here. 🙅‍♂️

​⚽ At his age, he should be out playing with friends, but instead, he spends his entire time invading my personal space.

​🐍 Neighbourly Dynamics & Mental Harassment:

​Recently, I had a dispute over an alleyway with two of my neighbors, who happen to be distant relatives of my wife’s family. 🧱 In the past, they used my tenant's children to harass me.

​Now, when my wife’s bhabhi goes to buy milk near their house every evening, they manipulate her and send this boy into my house explicitly to mentally torture me while I’m trying to rest! 😤📉

​⚠️ What We Have Tried So Far:

​🚫 200–300 Warnings Ignored: My wife’s entire extended family has strictly warned this boy not to visit my house. He completely ignores everyone!

​🗣️ Family Interventions Failed: My wife, his mother, and his father have all scolded and forbidden him from coming here. He still shows up uninvited every single day.

​💔 Marital Strain: It recently led to a major fight between me and my wife, bringing our marriage to a very serious strain. His family and the boy know they are causing marital issues for us, yet he keeps coming back to disturb us. 🤦‍♂️

​😰 Why I Feel Helpless:

​👮‍♂️ No Police Option: I cannot file a police complaint. If I do, these people and the local relatives will group up and file false counter-cases against me.

​We wonder why crime rates, frustration, and mental health issues are soaring. In reality, a vast majority of societal crimes and unrest stem directly from bias, humiliation, and systematic unfairness. 💥

​I have over 4 years of total work experience:

●​2.4 years in a blended process where I handled app-related technical issues with the IT team and also worked in a supervisory role. 🛠️

​Ever since I joined this current company 5 months ago, I’ve felt targeted and discriminated against. Initially, it started with Team Leaders nitpicking every minor mistake. But now, it has escalated to my own peers and colleagues making it their mission to humiliate me. 🛑

◇​Regional Bias & Discrimination: They have previously made racist/regionalist comments during Google Meet calls. 😡 I ignored it at the time to avoid conflict, but the toxic culture is evident.

◇​Boundary Crossing: If someone has an issue with my work, the professional protocol is to go through the TL or Manager. Instead, they call me out personally in front of the entire group to shame me and make me look incompetent. 🗣️❌

◇​Fear of Escalation: If I stand up to them or speak back, I know they will gang up and report me to the manager. 🪤

​To give you a real example of the scale of this corporate greed: I work for an international BPO, handling operations for a major heart clinic chain based in the US. 🏥🇺🇸

●​🏢 The clinic has 40+ branches.

●​🩺 For a single patient visit, they make approx. $300 just for tests.

●​🗓️ For follow-ups and new patient appointments, they pull in another $90 and $140 respectively.

●​👥 Thousands of patients visit these offices daily. The revenue they generate per month is astronomical! 🚀

​And what do they pay the offshore team running their entire backend operations? A meager ₹20,000 INR per month (approx. $212 USD). 🪙 There are fewer than 20 employees in our call center. Even after factoring in infrastructure, management, and tech costs, paying the core team $212 a month while generating millions is extreme corporate abuse.

​I am writing this with a heavy heart and a lot of frustration about the toxic workplace culture and blatant discrimination I am currently facing.

​I work as a consultant at a well-known International BPO, where our job involves scheduling appointments and handling queries for US-based healthcare patients. I have around 4 years of overall BPO experience, including 1 year and 7 months in the international sector. In my entire career, even US-based patients or clients have never spoken to me disrespectfully.

​Yet, my Team Leader (who is from Tamil Nadu) treats me like dirt.

​🛑 The Incident

​Yesterday (June 29, 2026), I made a very minor mistake. Instead of guiding me professionally, my TL screamed at and humiliated me so badly that I was on the verge of tears. The way he speaks to me makes me feel completely degraded, as if my education and background mean nothing.

​What hurts the most is the double standard. Staff from other states and even staff from another country make major blunders, but he speaks to them with utmost respect, calmly explaining their mistakes as if they are royalty. But when it comes to me, even a tiny oversight results in absolute hostility.

​💼 My Background vs. How I'm Treated

​It’s not like I lack credentials. During my team introduction, everyone (including the TL) was made aware of my background:

​🎓 I have cleared over 30 banking prelims exams and qualified for IBPS PO interviews 3 times.

​🏛️ My father is a Retired Bank Branch Manager, my elder brother is a Gazetted Officer, and my younger brother is a Bank Officer.

​📈 I have a solid 4-year track record in the BPO sector overall, out of which 1 year and 7 months of experience is purely in an international BPO.

​I had to face similar discrimination and internal politics during my banking preparation days, which cost me a job back then. Now, when I am working hard in the private sector for a modest salary of ₹20k/month to support my family, I am being targeted again.

​📉 The Toll It's Taking

​🏠 I am a married man with a young child. This constant mental harassment and targeted bias are severely affecting my mental health.

​🧠 If this toxic environment leads to any extreme stress or mishap, who will take care of my wife and kid?

​⚖️ I am not saying I shouldn't be corrected for my mistakes. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

​📌 But why the separate rules? Why are people from certain regions treated with dignity while I am singled out and humiliated?

​This kind of regional bias and discrimination inside our own country is disgusting. It feels like a deliberate attempt to break my confidence and target my identity.
