prime day’s coming up and my back is done with this normal chair situation. looking for a proper ergonomic chair for my work desk, wfh setup mostly long hours sitting and typing.budget’s flexible-ish if it’s actually worth it during the sale, don’t wanna cheap out and regret it in 6 months. lumbar support is a must, recline + decent headrest would be nice too.
anyone copped a good one in past sales? steelcase/herman miller dupes worth it or should i just save up and get the real thing? also open to indian brands if they’re solid, don’t wanna deal with import/warranty hassle.

turned 25 today. no one knows no one’s celebrating with me people at work have no idea it’s my birthday. just another day i guess that’s adulting right.last 5 years have been genuinely hard. like really hard. and now i’m 25 and i feel like i should have my shit together by now but i really don’t. no savings. no big accomplishments. nothing to really show for it.the loneliness is the worst part honestly. you’d think you’d get used to it but birthdays make it hit different.i don’t even know what i want from posting this. just scared about what comes next i think.

Have you SEEN a Tame Impala live show? The lasers, the visuals, the full 360 dome projection setup it’s genuinely one of the most insane production setups in live music right now. Mahalaxmi racecourse is a great venue and all but I’m not sure it’s built for that kind of rig. The infrastructure alone would be a nightmare to import and set up in time.And before anyone comes at me yes I know we pulled off some decent production at Lolla India the last couple of years. But Tame Impala is a different beast entirely. This isn’t just a backline and some moving heads. This is a full sensory experience that basically needs to be engineered around the stage.Would love to be proven wrong honestly. Kevin Parker live in Mumbai would be one of the greatest things to ever happen to the Indian concert scene ngl.

I really want to do the Valley of Flowers trek this year. I’m not very physically fit but I do have the will to do it. At the same time I’m a bit scared about the weather and rainfall.I was thinking of going in the first week of September because the rains might be less by then but I’m worried there will be fewer flowers compared to July/August.For people who have done it what is the best time to go? Is the first week of September a good choice? Also how can I prepare myself physically in such a short time for the trek?
Any advice would be appreciated.

My passport verification process i forwarded to the next stage 😭 and surprisingly they didn’t even ask for my birth certificate. I even lost my passing certificates of Class 10 and 12 and my college certificate worked fine for me.I would really like to thank the staffs at POPSK Beadon Street they are really polite and work very fast.Thanks to everyone who commented yesterday for their valuable suggestions.Now I’m again asking what is the next stage like? In police verification will they call me or do I have to go to the police station? Will they ask for a digital birth certificate some said they have provided an affidavit from kmc.People also said that I have to bribe the officer in the name of jal khabar how much I have to pay?

I’ve been facing so much harassment just to get my passport made. First I took an appointment at POPSK Jadavpur and they rescheduled my verification because I didn’t have a digital birth certificate. I didn’t even know that was required. All my life I’ve used my Class 10 registration certificate as proof of birth.
Then I went to KMC to get a digital birth certificate and there too my father and I were harassed because I didn’t have a KMC-certified discharge certificate from the hospital. So we went to the hospital got the document and went again.Then KMC told us that the Janma-Mrityu portal is currently closed and they don’t know when it will reopen. They already have around 70 pending applications.
Now I’ve taken another rescheduled passport appointment tomorrow at POPSK Beadon Street.
Honestly after reading so many comments online I’m feeling completely hopeless. I don’t have a digital birth certificate and it feels like because of this one document I may not be able to get my passport at all.
