Suggestions on making a mini bookshelf speaker

Hi I have these spare pair from my old tv, the cone is 5 inches but with the brackets it's 7.5 - 8 inch tall so my proposed dimensions for the box is

Front & Back: 6.5 inch wide | 9.5 inch tall

Side: 5-7 inch long

Material: preferably wood, half inch thick or thinner

But I'm wondering if I should go with a closed, vented or a tube hole in either in the back or front. What do you guys think?

My lil bro found a gem 💎

He got it for $11 in a bookshop in a mall we went to today, never thought I'll see yotsubato physical media.

The beta version somewhat made my songs sound better

Aside from USB exclusive having some issues, listening to my stuff actually sounded good and stereoish I also noticed songs above 44.1 khz 16 bit gives some fidelity points which is cool I guess.

Audio stops when phone is turned off

whenever I turn off my phone the audio stops then resumes when I turn it on also the audio pauses for a moment when I enter and exit an app, what gives? Is this normal using the USB exclusive output driver or should I switch to a stable release instead? I'm unsure what setting to check

Grandma's Sony karaoke system (LBT-K100)

This was a bit trendy back then according to my grandma during the 90s and early 2000s which now is replaced by ugly bass boosted bluetooth karaoke speakers and unfortunately maybe the last one surviving in my neighborhood since old thing throw away mentality.

It's silly my grandma has maybe been just using this to listen to AM broadcasts for a decade already and I'm a bit surprised how nice it still sounds even without maintenance for how old it is. Yes I'm hooking up my laptop using an HDMI to AV converter that I also use for my old TV

Yoke sag?

Hi just recently acquired this curved Trinitron but I can't help notice the top area bowing which is very noticeable if I'm watching 16:9 content or if there's a long line of text but my phone camera can't really capture it and I'm wondering if this is natural since I'm a bit more used to a flat screen.

Also in the bottom right corner it looks like it's sinking but there's a convergence strip in that area and I'm wondering if moving it up and down or pulling it in and out would help it correct.

Hi novice here, should these resistors be replaced or if not broken don't fix?

While cleaning this crt tv I noticed the coating has chipped off but I'm curious if it's fine or is it best to replace these.

I have finally acquired a curved screen (KV-21TDR2MKII)

Third TV in my collection which I got for $8 since the seller doesn't use it much and it survived some floodings (he lives in a floodway). Color seemed off at first but adjusting the hue fixed it somewhat and geometry wise I guess it's normal for a curved and the convergence are somewhat similar to my flat but is ignorable.

Quite happy since I have been looking for maybe a couple of months, it's dual audio but the left speaker doesn't seem to produce a sound and I also hope if anyone can identify what chassis is this so I can find some manuals since searching the name doesn't show any results.
