I want you all to give me your best stands based on overused stand tropes like gravity, emotional, light, time, Stand and heat control or Stand copying, portal creation and all that other crap, every dead horse that was beaten into much, and make a actually creative, unique and interesting stands out of it, that could show up in a actually good story!

I personally am a giant fan of magic that reflects somebody mental state, and I’m not talking about magic that requires a a specific mental state, but magic that is a specific reflection of a characters mental state!

For example one of my characters suffers from War PTSD and instead of just making their magic memory related or related to the war, I made the ability a convoluted Mess that is a amalgamation of all the details in their flashbacks and is soo long that it’s entire process doesn’t even show up, what I mean is that the character can create a bullets, that wen shot into a tree makes flies grow out of the plant, who will fly to any tree’s that have given the original tree there DNA 3 generations back, and if the flies manage to touch the trees in less than 24h the touched plants will slowly move towards their offspring till the make contact, after which they will fuse with them and …….! You get what I mean!

At first I thought this was completely bs, but when I put my mind to it I realise that it perfectly reflex the mind of somebody that is lost in the process of something and is made functionally powerless, because of not being able to take any relevant action!

In my Opinion power systems made in a way that is convenient for the goal that the protagonist wants to reach are worse then the once who are actively hindering the main character, because it forces conflict, and stupid magic is better than sound magic, because humans are fundamentally stupid and it’s easier that way to make your magic system line up with your themes, if they are about humans.

I had a I Idea of a stand that uses Hydrogen peroxide to break down blood specifically the Catalase enzyme, but instead of into many little bubbles made of oxygen and water and the remaining parts of the blood cell, it would create a huge bubble that could be used for spin! The H2O2 could also be injected directly into the blood stream to make something similar to stray cat, plus spin!

Now I need your help, because I have now Idea from where the Hydrogen peroxide should come out, what kind of stand it should be and it’s name!

I heard allot of songs that seem happy but are actually really disturbing, like pump up kicks which is about a school shooting, for ever young witch is about the fear of the atomic bomb in the called war, big in Japan is about the delusions of two crack head lovers or every breath you take that is about a stocking. Songs like that always fascinating to me, because often people just ignore their messages in favour of their catchy music and I ask myself is it even worth it to write songs like that if most listeners will just ignore their messages?
I would love to hear more of those songs but I can’t find any, so can you help me out?

I personally love using music reference when I have no character idea, for example all the victims in my Serial killer story are references to ABBA songs and the serial killer is a reference to the song “son of Sam” and the real life serial killer who was the inspiration for the song!

I personally don’t like Genetic magic system, because often it doesn’t reflect on who the person is and instead puts them into a box before they are born. On the other side making a medic system be able to be used by anybody makes the magic less special, but that issue could be resolved by making the conditions to achieve magic something that can’t be persuade conventional or making it a 50/50 you die or you get magic! What I also feel is a problem with genetics is that the magic often isn’t personalised for every individual, what I think is a shame because it’s again a missed opportunity to use metaphors to tell something about somebody in a fight without needing to force a dialog even though the character really doesn’t want to talk.

Another problem I have with magic system in general is that magic is often boring because the writer limits the way magic can manifest in a individual, what means that after some time the righters will run out of creative ways to use the magic.

Talking about fights I feel like often magic is turned into a numbers game or a Pocemon battle, instead of using the magic in interesting ways that are limited to that specific conflict and not a technic they use over and over. A similar problem I have with limitation that don’t change the use conditions, what I mean is a limitation like needing to be angry to use it, what means a character could theoretically just do the same thing over and over to win!

Her Coworker was a serial killer, who pretty fast killed her to cower up his tracks before using his own ability to extract her memories, what made him realise that that if he doesn’t get the picture of him in a police uniform, that Agnetha has given her daughter a gift, he will die, so he makes his way back home with STMY to save he’s serial killer ass!

She is obsessed with capturing every moment and was a believer in fade. Personality wise she was observant but a little too much lost in her past mistakes to notice her present, she also appears very cold and distant especially after her divorce!

takes the form of a Polaroid camera that doesn’t create pictures, instead every picture it will ever make already exists since the beginning of time as a indestructible Polaroids, that will disappear once they’re picture is taken with the camera, what is unavoidable and a part of fade, but there is a method to avoid the prophecy. By inserting a Polaroid into STMF whole, out of which usually the pictures come out of, will destroy the Polaroid prematurely and make the picture no longer fade.

So my world is hysterically identical to ours!

In my world there are beings known as Angels, who are basically abominations of souls of people and animals that died! This angel are from a psychologically, ability wise as well as there looks unique, all of those things are determined by the experience of the souls they consist of! Angel are extremely powerful because of all the spiritual power they have from all the souls, but they have one problem they can only minimally or not at all interact with the physical world and can’t even be seen by normal people, because of the fact that they aren’t physically beings. That’s where Living organisms come into play, by creating a symbiotic connection to a living thing and forming a contract (the angel gives the raw power and the Organismus gives access to the physical place)! What is a contract? a contract is the prove of a past or ongoing cooperation between a angel and a organism, but more importantly it’s through what the magic happens and it can take the form of anything a car, a robot,a animal,…. It can even integrate itself into something that already exists, its behaviour and its ability could be anything. How a contract turns out is completely dependent on the psychology of the organism, the one of the angle and their desire, for example there is a nurse in my story that has served in a war in with she got fatally wounded and was bleeding out but before she could die she made a contract with, a angel that was a abomination of soldiers souls, and created the contract in the form of a syringe named “the remedy” that could replace the symptoms of any affliction with the symptoms of frontal lobe dementia, saving the lives of people but giving them periods of extreme violence, what didn’t only fulfil the nurses desire to survive but also the angel desire of violence!

Rules:

1. ⁠Angel and contracts (that aren’t integrated) can’t be seen by people that never had a contract!
2. ⁠Both parties need to consent to some extent. A no means no but if a person is in a flight or fight mode and the angel gives a way to survive the situation then the contract is made automatically!
3. ⁠Anything with a desire can make a contract even animals.
4. ⁠Normally a contract is 50/50 under the control of both parties but if humans sacrifice something to the angel or the other way around they can make the contract be more a tool for them. The sacrifice needs to be big and personal!
5. ⁠A contract can ( doesn’t need to) remain after the death of the organism but that will stop the control the angel has over the contract.
6. ⁠There doesn’t need to be contact between the organism and the angel for the contract to remain!

In my world there are beings known as Angels, who are basically abominations of souls of people and animals that died! This angel are from a psychologically, ability wise as well as there looks unique, all of those things are determined by the experience of the souls they consist of! Angel are extremely powerful because of all the spiritual power they have from all the souls, but they have one problem they can only minimally or not at all interact with the physical world and can’t even be seen by normal people, because of the fact that they aren’t physically beings. That’s where Living organisms come into play, by creating a symbiotic connection to a living thing and forming a contract (the angel gives the raw power and the Organismus gives access to the physical place)! What is a contract? a contract is the prove of a past or ongoing cooperation between a angel and a organism, but more importantly it’s through what the magic happens and it can take the form of anything a car, a robot,a animal,…. It can even integrate itself into something that already exists, its behaviour and its ability could be anything. How a contract turns out is completely dependent on the psychology of the organism, the one of the angle and their desire, for example there is a nurse in my story that has served in a war in with she got fatally wounded and was bleeding out but before she could die she made a contract with, a angel that was a abomination of soldiers souls, and created the contract in the form of a syringe named “the remedy” that could replace the symptoms of any affliction with the symptoms of frontal lobe dementia, saving the lives of people but giving them periods of extreme violence, what didn’t only fulfil the nurses desire to survive but also the angel desire of violence!

Rules:

1. ⁠Angel and contracts (that aren’t integrated) can’t be seen by people that never had a contract!
2. ⁠Both parties need to consent to some extent. A no means no but if a person is in a flight or fight mode and the angel gives a way to survive the situation then the contract is made automatically!
3. ⁠Anything with a desire can make a contract even animals.
4. ⁠Normally a contract is 50/50 under the control of both parties but if humans sacrifice something to the angel or the other way around they can make the contract be more a tool for them. The sacrifice needs to be big and personal!
5. ⁠A contract can ( doesn’t need to) remain after the death of the organism but that will stop the control the angel has over the contract.
6. ⁠There doesn’t need to be contact between the organism and the angel for the contract to remain!
7. ⁠Sometimes a contract can harmful to both or one party because of their self destructive psychology for example!
8. ⁠A angle is incapable of change!
9. ⁠Contracts can exist between one or multiple Organisms and multiple angles, but there needs to be at least one of both.
10. ⁠A contract can only be harmed by another contract because they are both in a special state between the physical and spiritual place!
11. ⁠To repair a contract the organism needs to give up part of their health and an angle part of their energy!

12.A contract doesn’t have to only have one body, for example there is a character inspired by the Opera (Der Freischütze) whose contract are multiple bullets!

1. Why aren’t there any powers that actively hinder or just straight op kill there owners and I’m not talking about powers with sight effects, I’m talking about powers that actively making life harder. I just think it is much more interesting to see people that possess powers like that try to master their day to day life’s instead of those that just have abilities that help them, also powers that worsen their owners life’s don’t need to be completely useless, for example I once made a character that would make anybody that steps into his shadow look and sound like his dead friend!

2. Magic that has absolutely no combat, defence and support use and is instead something extremely casual.

3. Weird limitation that aren’t about who can use it and the resource required but instead conditions that aren’t about the user but instead about the state of whatever it is used on.

4. Just unique abilities that form are dependent on the owners past but not on their active decision to get that power.

5. Sight effects of magic that don’t effect the users body but instead the relation they have to things, people or animals, but not in a way that magic is seen as something bad instead it has a direct effect on the relation.
