Love how "expressive" she is with her eyes. Obviously since she is an albino, I can easily see her eyes always moving and scanning the area.
Seems they all love it, recorded 3 of them. This is the white flesh of the fruit, made sure to get the seed and seed coating off
2 tapped the mouse. Still ready for more afterwards.
He was in shed so had to coax him out a little but it seems he liked the 2 quail chicks I gave him. You can hear his excited huffs and chuffs when he leaves his hide
Also seems my boas are interested at the end haven't fed them poultry yet, but they seem really interested in the quail smell.
Angry Leachie gecko in the background as well
This guy definitely knows he is photogenic. Really glad I stuck with eco-halogen for his bigger enclosure, was debating whether I should just have a radiant heat panel and a uvb. But he definitely likes to bask a lot under the halogen bulb.
My eastern indigo Valstrax.
My Boa constrictor Velvet. Might try baking a velvet cake
2 years old and 300+ grams female Boa Constrictor. It's more between the small weaner rats and the ex-breeder mice. Mice look smaller than the weaned rats but are slightly heavier. What would be better nutritionally?
Most of my other snakes don't need these sizes, kinda just wanted to feed one of them off.
Just need to add the uvb bulb (fitting already in place) and it should be good, will probably add more hanging stuff later on.
Do wanna add more colour, since I just realised all my enclosures are essentially coco coir fine or chunks and then a crap ton of cork and moss. Never can go wrong with the stuff though. Especially the coco coir, since he pees a lot
Some more after shed pics of my Asian Brazilian rainbow boa (Bismarck python 😉), kinda excited since I have a new bigger enclosure for him, already arrived just need to set it up. It's a plastic one, so was wondering whether I should make a more bio active enclosure, however he does bulldoze a lot (these guys are more active predators than ambush) as well as pee a lot , so at most it will be a semi bio active. Can't really go wrong with coco fibre to be honest.
But man his colour really pops off. Such an inquisitive fella as well, had my finger on his door lock, to open the enclosure to get rid of all the shed (always shits in it and leaves it in his water dish 🤢 so best to clean it quick), so he is just staring at it in the first pic
Insects or fruit, we ball. One of the locusts in there is munching on the fallen piece as well.
Almost 3 years old, 14-15 inches long and 269 grams, so she is defo gonna be a big girl when fully grown. She is a Poindimie x Yate. A little bit of stuck shed on her head but that will come off in her next shed.
He doesn't like these as much as super worms, but he still takes them, these are more of a treat since they are high in fat. He seems to be hitting his adult size, head becoming more blocky.
