Claims vs Cutoffs

Legit so many people are claiming 100+ marks and asking their chances. (I'm fearing that Anuj Jindal's cutoff analysis may prove correct)

Those who attempted last year, was there a similar flurry of people claiming 75+ marks last year as well (given cutoff was 77)

A Question from a Hindu who reveres the Prophet

So I'll quickly summarise my background first

I'm a Hindu by birth and since our philosophy is very open minded and there are no specific rules/books which are compulsory to follow, we are free to believe in whatever we want.

So my mom started following a Guru when I was young, and I also started following her without a question as I liked the meditation part of the teachings.

When it comes to philosophy, we believe that all religions are equal and there is truth to every religious figure of all major religions and they are all to be equally revered.

So I have revered the Prophet out of this same feeling that has been developed since my childhood, as the Guru in her lectures used to mention good stories about the Prophet where he is portrayed in a positive light.

But of late, I've come across information from this sub and elsewhere that there are certain problematic references in the Quran and elsewhere and it's creating cognitive dissonance in my mind..

My mom says that those problematic references may have been inserted deliberately by people who wanted to misuse them and I should stick with my reverence for the Prophet.

I am going through a phase of cognitive dissonance and want a deeper understanding, I've previously asked this question on the apostate sub, but I wanted to get a perspective from those who practice Islam.
