Maybe we should just normalize the term K-Cults instead?
I was once told not to wear a hat while preaching due to being male. It was cold out and I had a beanie or some type of cap that fit in with my business casual preaching clothes. I was told that the head covering regulation, which also includes males, states that a man should not have his head covered when "prophesying" and that means preaching. I asked why then do sisters not wear their head covering when preaching. He said with a totally straight face, "because people would think it was weird."
Not only that but even during prayer time in public places sisters would pray discreetly without head covering.
