Was this shot from Lord of the Rings filmed in Mt Vic Forest?

There’s a scene from Fellowship of the Ring movie where the Hobbits hide from the Nazgûl that was filmed in mount Victoria forest.

There’s a quite famous dolly zoom shot when Frodo looks down the path and hears the sound of the Nazgûl. The camera does a spooky zoom in/out effect. That shot has been a favourite of mine since I was young and I was wondering if it’s filmed at the same spot as the rest of the scene? It looks like Mount Vic forest but it’s more flat than the spot that’s sign posted as “hobbits hideaway”

This is a long shot but this is Wellington after all, does anyone know the spot that shot was filmed?

What would've happened if this went to the slips or third man? CWC 2015

This is from NZ vs Australia at Cricket World Cup
2015.

This ripper of a ball was very close to getting caught by the slips or carrying to third man.

NZ would've been 80/5, with 72 runs required to win with Luke Ronchi and Dan Vettori the next 2 batters to come in. Starc still had 6 overs left to bowl. How do you think the rest of the match would've panned out?

Highly recommend this interview to anyone interested in the making of the films

I didn’t think I’d watch all 51 minutes when I clicked on this video but it was a great watch and I ended up watching the whole thing.

I’ve already read and watched a lot about the making of the films, but I still found this interview very interesting. I love hearing about the casting process and imagining what those auditions and discussions would’ve been like

Anyone else get crazy night sweats when they stop smoking?

I’m a fairly consistent smoker who smokes most nights but will have short semi regular breaks when life stuff gets in the way. The last year or 2 I’ve noticed I wake up sweaty when I smoke less weed, and wake up DRENCHED in sweat when I smoke none at all. It can be pretty bad, wet pillow, sheets, hair, everything. It’s almost like wetting the bed but through my skin

Is this normal/common with seasoned smokers? Are there any tips for reducing it? It gradually goes away after about a week but that’s after several nights of sweaty sleep. This is the only physical reaction I get, everything else is fine

Anger management issues with Search and destroy BO6

Has anyone else had issues with anger management while playing search and destroy? How did you explain it to your partner or room mates?

I've always been susceptible to video game rage but it has gotten worse this past year when I've started to only play search and destroy on Black Ops 6 (| used to play all game modes on shuffle). Losing fights as the last person alive and watching useless teammates lose the game for us, particularly when they're too unbelievably stupid to attempt to get to the bomb in time, are the most common things to send me over the edge.

I've just found out that my flatmate rang her mother and told her she was scared when she could hear me screaming and smashing things. Obviously I feel terrible, but I need a way to explain to her that me raging at COD isn't something she needs to be worried about.

There have also been other incidents, notably last year when I thought I was activating the launcher/ noob tube on my gun with the d-pad but I accidentally put my gun into single fire mode. I then lost a 1v1 with the whole team watching because my gun was in single fire mode. I kicked over my records shelf and dehumidifier, doing hundreds of dollars worth of damage, soaking the carpet and I said some things to my girlfriend that I ended up regretting. There was another time when I died to a long grenade at the start of a round 2 rounds in a row on Rewind. The second time it happened, I flipped a table I didn't realise had my girlfriend's laptop on it and it broke. That caused some drama.

Since then, I have felt self conscious about how her and our housemates perceive my anger. Hearing about our housemate ringing her mother because of it is both saddening and embarrassing. Has anyone got any tips on how they manage their rage, particularly with Search and Destroy? And how did you explain it to non gamers to make them realise it's nothing to be scared of?

I didn’t smoke much before I met my bf but now I do most days. He smokes way more than me and buys it in ounces so I just smoke his.

Should I be worried about him making this my contact pic or is it common for stoners to have banter about who buys the weed?
