Since we all like to complain about narrative glazing, what’s a case of narrative glazing that feels deserved

I saw this post idea asked earlier but no one was really answering it properly. I’ll explain how to answer this question.

You basically have to tell me who you think got portrayed in a kinder light by the narrative than they could’ve and how justified you found it to be.

For example, it’d be so easy to have Ellie treat Miriam like Satan for the fake heart attack and the narrative kinda sides with her over it, but Miriam gets a pretty clean edit in spite of that, and I do think that’s fair since Ellie was a piece of shit to Jake.

I’ll go first. Despite their flaws as human beings, I do think it was a good decision to give Gwen and Cody the positives edits they have. Could they have taken more accountability for their actions? Without a doubt, but considering the people around them they have to deal with, I think I can cut them a break in comparison to OTHER characters.
