I miss lbp a lot, and i was thinking about creating a game that stayed true to it as much as possible. But I feel like I would get into trouble if I used textures, SFX, etc.
The world is 17,000 x 17,000 blocks and is made entirely from a single mathematical equation. The terrain has a pretty strong Far Lands feel to it, with strange terrain and some really unusual formations.
The world is split into 4 rings. Starting from the center, alternating between grief and non-grief zones, marked red and green so they're easy to tell apart.

The first image is that of the "backrooms wallpaper" and it's very widely known as that and used as such in games and renders of the backrooms.
But let's make things clear. THIS TEXTURE IS OUTDATED.
it's been like 2 years since we found the location of the OG backrooms image and exact model of wallpaper (Borden home wallcoverings WC-138 Santa Fe collection).
It was a nice texture while we didn't know what the wallpaper actually looked like but using it in games now makes the game feel cartoony and overall low quality.
The image on the right is the correct wallpaper that should be used in games and renders, now I'm not forcing anyone to use it it's Your art therefore it's your choice what textures you use. But I just wanted to get the information out there. It could make your work look a hundred times better and more appealing to backrooms enthusiasts.
I am aware the image needs color correction but that's actually pretty easy.

Basically just a really cool amplified world that goes up to y=2000 for java, the reason I say this is because there is a bug that doesn't let the world load past y=356. We are actively working on the issue and hope to get it fixed soon.

Hi, I'm a blender artist and I'm in search of the perfect unique liminal space for my short film. It's going to be inspired by The Oldest View by Kane Pixels. I need a space that fits into a similar category to that of the mall from TOV 1. Public space, 2. Real life place, 3. Looks good as a liminal space, 4. Has an interesting backstory - EX: Valley view mall had this creepy guy sitting around even throughout demolition. Any ideas would be helpful!
