hello guys I’m testing Debian on virtual machine
how lightweight can Debian be ? how much bloatware it has ? And how can I make Debian the most lightweight and still usable while all features like WiFi or Bluetooth etc support are still available ?
ogólnie to chce być elektrykiem ale rodzice nie pozwalają mi iść do techniku. czy jest jakaś opcja na to po liceum ?
I’m planning to build a privacy-focused Android-based OS (AOSP fork) with a strong emphasis on user control and no automatic profiling or cloud tracking.
The system would include a dual-screen mode (for devices like LG dual-screen phones) and a “desktop mode” similar to Samsung DeX, with three work modes:
There would also be a system-level notification and messaging control panel on the second screen, where the user manually decides what to do with incoming SMS/messages (e.g. trust, block, ignore), instead of the system making any assumptions.
No AI-based classification, no cloud analysis everything is fully user-driven and local.
I’m still at the early design stage and wanted to ask:
Is this kind of architecture actually feasible within AOSP, or would Android’s system limitations make this extremely difficult to implement in practice?
just like in title which low budget thinkpad do you preffer for linux? my budget is about 400$
