Need 20-30 dollars for food until I get paid

I've been helped on reddit recently so I don't want to ask for a handout, but rather suggestions. Wondering if anyone knows one of those cash advance apps that works? I've tried all the popular ones like Dave/cleo/Albert/briggit etc. most wont connect to my bank.

Does anyone know of maybe a lesser know cash advance app or have any other ideas? I just need to get some food for the week for me and my mom until I get paid.

Id rather not ask for help on reddit again directly so if anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Really need help, almost out of this nightnare

A few weeks ago I lost my job, I was hired on to a new job within 3 days but had to wait nearly a week and a half to start pending a background check. A user on reddit graciously helped me get through to the next week (im currently living in an extended stay hotel with my mother who is disabled with no income). They paid the entire balance and even helped with food. Thankfully it's not as bad as it was then, at that point I needed the entire amount. This time I have most of the money from my first paycheck at my new job. However it was a very small paycheck as I started late into the pay period. The good news is Wednesday I will receive a full check which will be enough to cover my costs and more. My rooms weekly rent is 385, and as of right now I have 265. Im in need of 120 to get by. (Maybe 130 depending on fees to transfer) ? Not sure

Anyways if anyone can help, I have PayPal/Venmo and Chime.

I feel sick to my stomach asking for help again, but I really can't afford to lose this place. Its the only somewhat affordable place I can find within 30 miles, and it's a 2 minute walk to my new job. Everywhere else wants 450-600 a week which is absurd and this specific in town suites stays full.

If anyone has the means to help, dm me or post here. I have until Monday morning to get this sorted.

Quick question regarding pay

Short and sweet, so I know the pay is weekly on Friday and the pay period is monday-sunday.

So my question is, since my first days were today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday) am I write to assume I'd receive pay for these two days next Friday?

Desperately need help before Monday - Updated post for proof of situation.

I tried to add whatever I could to add some sort of proof of my situation.. was worried about sharing personal stuff online directly but im desperate. Ive added photos of my time sheet from previous job, showing my hours and up until I was let go. My bank account showing my last payment for the room and also the online payment portal showing my next due date. As well as my job offer email from my new job. I hope it provides some clarity.

Im going to try not to ramble too much, ive been in a state of panic for a few days now and honestly am overwhelmed. I've been staying in an extended stay hotel with my disabled mom (she has yet to be approved for disability SSI) for awhile now and have relatively been able to keep up with my weekly rent, i was working full time as a manager at a small retail store up until last week. I was let go, and immediately started applying at places near by. I have since been hired already, and am currently awaiting a background check to go through to start my new job. My issue right now is money was already tight when I got let go, my final paycheck just barely gave me enough money to pay the week we're currently on (until this coming Monday) and even if my background check goes through tomorrow and I start my new job tomorrow I would not get paid again soon enough to pay my rent, and they will kick us out if its not paid on the due date

Im a bit beside myself right now, and I maybe should have posted this sooner but I wanted to try all other avenues before coming to reddit .. Ive contacted 211, multiple local churches and I've simply had no luck.

Im extremely worried about my mom, she's 63 and I cannot allow her to be outside on the street.. it would be bad enough if it was just me but having someone who relies on me to keep a roof over their head as well is making this ultra stressful.

Ultimately I need $385 to cover my next week's rent, truthfully I need more because I have no money for food or anything else right now but I can figure something out with that.. I just gotta find a way to get the rent covered for the week.

Im happy to provide any proof I can of my situation to anyone who might be able to help.. I have Venmo and chime.. don't have access to cash app since I got rid of my last phone.

If anyone can help or has any ideas please let me know.. and please dont dm me links for referrals or apps.. im genuinely so stressed I'm struggling to breathe properly I really don't want to be spammed with scam links.

Requesting help to keep a roof over myself and my mothers head.

Update: I have been given $50 by one person, and $35 by another since my first post. I currently need $300 still to pay the week. Im having a really hard time right now, I am afraid for my mother to be outside, she's in no condition for this. If anyone can help it's extremely appreciated

[Req] $385 for rent [Payback 8/20] [Jax Fl] [Venmo/Chime]

Inbetween jobs at the moment, currently awaiting my start date at new job. Staying in an extended stay hotel and need to come up with the rent by Monday.

Im willing to pay interest, and it's possible I can pay it back sooner than mentioned in the title but just wanted to give myself enough of a cushion to be positive I could pay it back.

I have Venmo and Chime, lost access to my cash app when I got a new phone.

What NFL legend has the most forgotten run on a second team?

I became a die hard Jags/NFL fan in 2010, so I missed it. But Tory Holt was briefly a Jaguar (only found out because I used to play Madden Ultimate team and noticed he had the jags as a team chemistry stat)..

Anyways, title. What legendary player switched teams that most people forgot/don't remember. And also did you know Holt was a Jag?

"forgot to unlock my card" what's the most annoying things customers do to you?

Recently found this sub as I had questions about something I feel is unfair, but now I'm just enjoying the sub as a whole haha .

Anyway, I cannot stand the customers who wait until a minute after I've rang up their items to unlock their card and of course half the time they run it first and get declined after fumbling around in their phone to open Applebpay whilst also being on a phone call. Also is just me or can any other ASMs relate to this? Every single time I send my cashier on break I have no line at my register. Then the first customer to come through either has their card locked, or left their card in their car or some BS that causes my clear line to get backed up immediately.. Everytime!

Honorable mention: Customers who shop a full basket of frozen food then decide to just leave their entire basket at the other end of the store and let's the food go bad/melt..

So what is the most frustrating things customers regularly do on a daily basis,?

Legality question...

I'll try and keep this short as possible.

About half a year ago I was offered a full time ASM role at my store (was a stocker prior) Anyways it took awhile to update in the system, so they went ahead and trained me and got me going.. before I was officially a manager I had already been doing the job for a few weeks. When the time came, all of the sudden my store manager informed me that the District Manager would not allow us to have three full time managers on paper, and thus id be classified as part time (but still receive from full time hours) since then, I've worked a bare minimum of 35 hours a week, usually closer to 38

Anyway at the time I had no issues with it aside from losing out on health insurance. However I found out a bit later on that I was being paid $16.50 an hour (part time rate) whilst full time ASMs get $18.50 at my store. So for six months I've been working full time hours, whilst getting paid two bucks less an hour. Its also worth noting that while im classified as part time, I have more hours than the other two full time managers every week!

Im no legal expert, but this feels illegal, or at best like a sleezy business practice to save a couple dollars per hour. Either way I'm really not happy about it. I never call out, I almost always come in early and on my days off even when asked on short notice and i always get the Friday/saturday closing shifts. I feel very used..

But what I'm really asking tho, is this illegal? Im in Florida in case it matters.

If the NFL did a full redraft of all current players, how does the first round go in your opinion?

Title, post your round one picks 1-32 (teams are irrelevant m).

Ive recently become a manager at a retail store, so one of my hobbies now at the end of the night when counting the deposit is just checking to find interesting money and or cool serial numbers. I've collected a few older bills as I just find it cool and nostalgic, but I dont know much about the hobby.

So I'm curious, is this cool? If it is could you tell me why? Likewise if it's not. Thanks
