Research discussion: Retatrutide + IGF-1 LR3 and body-composition outcomes

How to start with this …

Is there evidence that combining these pathways produces additive effects on lean mass?

First Reta for 5 week and then IGF ?

What are the known or proposed effects of retatrutide on body weight and body composition?

Retatrutide + IGF-1 LR3 during a 3-month cut — looking for experiences

Hi everyone,

I’m planning a 5–6 week cut using retatrutide (RETA) and considering whether IGF-1 LR3 would be useful during a longer ~3-month period for preserving or potentially building lean muscle.

I’m currently 98 kg and 170 cm, and my main goal is to reduce body fat while maintaining as much lean muscle as possible.

I’m not looking for dosing, injection, reconstitution, or cycle instructions. I’m mainly interested in people’s personal experiences and general insights:

  • Did IGF-1 LR3 make any noticeable difference in muscle retention or muscle gain?
  • What changes did you notice in body composition?
  • What side effects did you experience?
  • Did you notice changes in appetite, blood sugar, energy, or recovery?
  • Did using it while cutting/losing weight make a noticeable difference?
  • Looking back, would you use it again?

Especially interested in experiences from people who have used IGF-1 LR3 alongside Retatrutide or another weight-loss medication.

Retatrutide or Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) which should I need to choose

I'm looking for advice from people who have actually used Retatrutide or Tirzepatide (Mounjaro).

My current weight is 100 kg, and my goal is to get down to around 70–75 kg, so I need to lose approximately 25–30 kg.

I'm trying to decide which medication would be the better option to start with.

A few questions:

  • If you've used Retatrutide, what was your experience?
  • If you've used Tirzepatide (Mounjaro), how much weight did you lose, and over what time period?
  • Which one would you recommend for someone with a significant amount of weight to lose?
  • How did the side effects compare (nausea, appetite suppression, fatigue, etc.)?
  • If you had to start over, which one would you choose and why?

I'm especially interested in hearing from people who have personal experience with one or both medications rather than just opinions.

First cycle - Fat Loss

My weight is 100 Kg now.

looking for some advice before starting my first SARM cycle.
I started my fitness journey at 107 kg and have now lost about 7 kg through training, diet, and consistency.

Earlier, I used yohimbine, and currently I’m using HugeGous Pharma Fat Bullet as part of my fat-loss phase.

My main goal is to continue losing body fat while preserving or building lean muscle.

I was considering the following for my first cycle:
RAD-140: 10 mg/day
MK-2866 (Ostarine): 10 mg/day

My questions are:
Is this a good first cycle for fat loss and body recomposition?
Is stacking RAD-140 and Ostarine worth it, or would running just one compound make more sense?
What side effects should I realistically expect?
What blood work would you recommend before, during, and after?
Has anyone with a similar starting weight had good results using these compounds?
PCT ?
