Statement balance is more than current balance

My VX statement balance is $1500 but my current balance is $1400. I’m assuming I still need to pay the statement balance.

I have used a few travel eraser credits this statement, is that why it’s thrown it off?

Having the worst brain fart for this trip cost split amongst 2 couples

We are going to Vegas and it will be a total of 4 people in 2 rooms (2 couples).

I have booked the room at $725 on my card. They have booked the pool cabana at $350. Since we are all married we simply would divide the cost by 2. But how much would they owe me since I covered the rooms and they booked the cabana?

For some reason I cannot figure this simple problem out and I feel VERY dumb lol.

2024 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.0 SE

Currently looking at the 2024 Outlander Sport 2.0 SE for my fiancé. It's OTD price is $18,100 and has 34k miles on it. I have no experience with Mitsubishi, but wanted everyone's take on if we should jump on this deal as she's currently in a 2004 Lexus RX330 with 224k miles, still running like brand new though!

Feeling like I can't switch fields

I am currently at a firm that specializes in exterior restoration/waterproofing where my role is estimator/project manager. I took the job fresh out of college and have been here for 7 years, but realizing I'm no longer happy.

- We don't have any sort of software

- We don't have set rates for anything except labor

- Everyone seems to price jobs differently

- There is no help if I have questions, they just change my pricing "add $1/sqft just because", etc. with no explanation.

I'm in a bit of a rut because I have alot of freedom and the pay is fine $67k with $4k EOY bonus, phone and gas provided. How hard would it be to switch into another estimator roll? I can quantify takeoffs which we mainly do with site visits or through google earth.

When visiting, how do you decide where to eat?

I'm visiting Vegas in August and figuring out how everyone goes about planning out meals since reservations at the higher end restaurants can be tough to get.

Do you typically eat all higher end? or do you just pop into places along the strip as you get hungry and dont worry about eating fancy?

Cabana at MGM Grand

We’ve booked an East River Cabana for 4 of us at the MGM Grand. I’ve read the list of what’s included (4 tubes is great!), but I’ve also heard people get fruit trays and sodas/water included. Is that still true or did they take that away?

Thank you event/goodie bag?

We are planning a smaller wedding in Puerto Vallarta (roughly 30 people, including bride/groom) and wanted to see if anyone had recommendations on an event off resort that could be set up as a “thank you for traveling for us” event.

We’re thinking of providing 2 choices for our guests during the RSVP portion of which event they would like to do such as a tequila tasting/zipline or catamaran that way we could get a head count and make a reservation. This would be covered by us, the bride and groom, as a way to show appreciation for traveling and spending the higher expense of coming to our wedding. Are there any other ideas we could do for the Puerto Vallarta area?

We are also curious as to what we should put in the guests gift bags for when they arrive to the resort. So far I’ve thought of the following for an April wedding.

- Itinierary/map of the resort
- Advil or some variation of headache medicine
- Liquid IV
- Imodium (Montezuma’s revenge isn’t a joke)
- hand fan for during the ceremony
- reef safe sunscreen (I know people will pack this, but it may come in handy)
- mini bottles of local tequila since we’re in the state of Jalisco

"Our records indicate that you already have a reservation at one of our hotels during the same period requested. You can continue to book at our best available rate"

I booked a room direct through Caesars about a 2 weeks ago and have been watching the prices to see if rates drop. They have gone down since I booked and I would also like to pair it with an offer through my credit card where I will still book direct with Caesars, but get more CC miles. I keep getting the error from the title, even after waiting 3 days to try and rebook the room hoping for some sort of system reset.

Id rather not book at best available rate if I can save some money with the promo codes available.... Is there a work around or do I have to call and talk to someone, thus not getting the bonus CC miles.

Secrets Vallarta Bay cost sheet?

Hello everyone we are in the first stages of deciding on which resort we want to get married at. So far Secrets Vallarta Bay is our top contender, but we were curious if anyone had the cost sheet/booklet for the various items that you can choose to upgrade. We plan to do the Eternal Love package and upgrading from there.

New to craps with a question

I like this strategy a lot and it works for my smaller bankroll, but as a newer craps player, I have a question.

Let’s say I get to the play where I pull my 4 and 10. Next roll, shooter hits the point. Should I then pull all my chips, wait for a point to be set, and then restart the strategy or leave my spread?

Additional question. What should I have as a bankroll. We’re planning a birthday trip to Vegas where I’ll be splitting time between the strip and Fremont. Hoping for $15 tables, but open to hearing what I should bring for all table minimums!

Hyatt website CONSTANTLY refreshing?

Has anyone else encountered this issue with the website? I am trying to research resorts for our wedding and the website will allow me to pull up a resort, refreshes nonstop for a few minutes and then allows me to continue. If I click any other tab to view rooms, gallery, or the list of restaurants, the same thing happens.

Very frustrating.

When is the right time to explore a new region?

My fiancé and I are VERY new to wine, but since we got back from Napa we’ve enjoyed sitting on our balcony looking at the skyline with a nice, to us, bottle from our Napa haul. We occasionally go to our local total wine and scour the shelves for wineries that we passed by during our adventures just to see what we may have missed out on.

So far we’ve really enjoyed:

- 2019 Chappellet signature cab
- 2021 Corison Cab
- 2021 Stags Leap Petite Sirah
- 2022 Frank Family Cab
- 2022 Ballentine Zin

My question to the wine community is, when did you move onto a new region, and how did you know it was time?

My only experience with nice wine from France was a 2015 Segla Margaux. We knew nothing about it, but it was recommended to us by the owner of a lovely wine bar in downtown Baton Rouge.

We recently visited SF after a few days in Napa and fell in love with the city and have decided to seek out venues in SF and the surrounding areas. Since we are from out of state I was curious if anyone has had experience with the Maverick House. We are also looking at pricing out University Club, but just based on pictures, feels out of budget.

Our budget is about $20k for max guest list of 35.

We received the pricing package from Hyatt Ziva PV and noticed that the 2 higher tier packages don't have any information about required minimum stays to get the price that is listed, does anyone have information on this or experience booking these packages?

- We are planning about 35 invited guests with 30 (not including bride and groom) to be in attendance.

Our full budget is about $15,000 USD and we were looking at a small intimate wedding in Europe with the ideal location being Italy or France. We would like to provide the guests with accommodation in the villa that would double as our venue as well as breakfast and dinner with a chef at the villa. Are we being realistic? We have looked on Airbnb and Vrbo but worry about cancelations from the hosts. If anyone has any other suggestions of countries that might be better for us that would be great!
