So far Hydralauncher is the only place that I can load up some of my games but none of the games detect the integrated controller of the ROG Ally. Is there a settings I have to mess with? If I hold the Xbox button and move the right stick it’ll move but other than that there seems to be no other button it detects.
Is there any extra steps I need to take to play Spider-Man remastered on a Xbox ROG Ally running SteamOs? For some games I just “add non-steam game” select “game title”.exe then use proton to run it but Spider-Man and Pathogenic won’t even make it to the splash screen. Just a black screen for a second then back to steams game library. All games have been downloaded on a computer then moved to a microsd card that’s in my handheld.
Did you guys experience problems with your Xbox Ally not detecting an sd card while running SteamOs? How did you guys fix the issue?
Decided to just buy the Xbox Ally and enjoy the older games I have been wanting to play…. But for the last 4 or so hours I’ve had it, it’s spent most of that time running through update after update lol. Hopefully by tomorrow I’ll be able to come back to this sub and ask what emulators are yall using haha. Really excited for my first handheld since the Gameboy Color.
I seen there’s a trade in promotion for $1000 off the Z fold8. The requirements is that it meets a trade in value of $95. Is that a trade in value with no damage? My trade in would be an iPhone 12 Pro with a cracked back glass. I had originally considered getting my son an iPad mini but with a qualifying trade in, the z8 feels like a better fit for my son.
Between the ROG Xbox Ally 7” and the Pocket fit g3 16g+512g, at the same price point new, what system would you go for? Theres also eBay listings for used Odin 2 portal max for about $50 usd more if that’s a better option.
At the moment for mobile gaming I only play Pokemon fire red on my iPhone and I love it but I have a long list of games I want to play as soon as I finish Sevii islands. I planned to buy a mobile remote controller for an android phone to play some light steam and arcade games but figured I’d scrap that and put the money towards a true handheld gaming system. Most of my emulation gaming at home I do on my iPad or MacBook and I love it but I would like to have similar experience during downtime at work. If anyone has other suggestions for ~500 usd that ships from USA I’d love to hear them.
I finally got my hands on an android phone just for emulation and looking for an app with the simplicity that “Delta” emulator has on iPhone. I love the onscreen controls and that I loaded it up and chose my usb-c stick and it set up and arranged compatible roms. I have not set up EmulationStation or Retorarch until I get a mobile gaming remote.
Hello I got an old laptop and decided to install CachyOs on it and honestly, it’s okay. How do I make it to where it does not ask me to login at startup. I keep nothing personal on the laptop and use it purely for playing emulated games. I don’t really care to have the need for a password to do anything on the laptop. Theres was a command I found online but I still gotta log in everytime I open up the laptop.
An individual is selling these boots and says they are pecos but all google search images tell me these are Rocky branded boots. Anyone know what model Pecos these are? They do have a redwing inside tag and a pecos stamp on the pull strap.
I was gifted about 50, 16 foot long 6 inch wide steel framing studs. I’m planning on using the free material to build my wife a “SheShed”. Was thinking of using it to build the subfloor and the roof. Doing a “lean to” style roof shed. How would you recommend I go about connecting the steel stud roof to my wood framing? Any hardware recommendations or cuts I need to make to tie it all in. Shed is going to be a 12x14. 11 feet tall at highest peak and 10 foot at the low side. Might also use the steel studs to frame the taller wall. I do concrete work for a living. Stick framing is new to me

I wanted to share some videos with family I took on my s5 ii shooting in mp4 lite but whenever they receive the video it’s a shrunken down video. I tried posting on instagram and its same issue. I took it to Davinci Resolve and exported it in 1080x1920 scale fullframe with crop but I still get the same tiny video. How are you getting great opengate or mp4 lite videos out straight from camera to share?
