I made a carnivore cookbook because I got tired of “plain meat every day”

Not trying to reinvent carnivore or make it complicated.

I just wanted recipes that still fit the lifestyle but actually felt satisfying and flavorful enough to look forward to eating again.

So I ended up putting together a cookbook focused on:

- high-protein meals

- world-inspired flavors

- simple cooking methods

- realistic weekday recipes

- meals you can repeat without burnout

I’ve been sharing a few complimentary reader copies with people genuinely interested in this style of cooking.

Happy to chat if this sounds like your thing.

(HIRING) Creative Lead (Senior-Level Only)

Remote · $3,000/month · Negotiable based on experience

Joey & Joan is not looking for a beginner.

We’re a fast-growing baby essentials brand under Orion Brands LLC — built on thoughtful design, precision fit, and products that actually make life easier for new moms. Think perfectly fitted bassinet sheets, elevated sleep essentials, and a brand that prioritizes relief, confidence, and trust.

We’re building a lean, AI-augmented team — and we need a Creative Lead who can take full ownership of how this brand looks, feels, and shows up everywhere.

This is a senior role. You won’t be executing someone else’s vision — you’ll be defining it.

What You’ll Own

Brand Positioning

You will define, refine, and protect Joey & Joan’s voice and visual identity. You know how to translate emotional pillars into creative that resonates deeply — especially with modern moms.

Creative Oversight

You’ll lead creative direction across our Graphic Designer, Social Media Manager, and external partners. You don’t just review — you elevate, refine, and set the standard.

Storefront & Brand Design

You will own the Shopify experience — from product pages to landing pages to every visual touchpoint. Every detail should feel intentional, cohesive, and premium.

Social Creative Strategy

You’ll lead the creative direction across multiple brand accounts, educational platforms, and AI-driven personas. You understand how content ecosystems work — and how to make them perform.

Ad Creative Direction

You’ll drive the strategy behind paid creatives on Meta and TikTok — from hooks to execution to iteration. You know what converts, and you know why.

What We’re Looking For

– Proven experience leading creative for eCommerce brands

– Strong visual taste and a sharp design eye

– Deep understanding of TikTok and modern social content

– AI-native workflow (you already use tools like Midjourney, Runway, etc.)

– Clear, decisive communicator

– Highly self-directed and strategic

Nice to Have

– Experience in baby, parenting, or wellness brands

– Familiarity with Shopify, Canva, and Figma

– Experience working with UGC creators or affiliate programs

If you’re someone who needs heavy direction, this role isn’t for you.

If you’re someone who sees gaps, builds systems, and raises the bar without being asked — apply here: https://joayandjoan.tiiny.site/

Sharing something I made for stress relief and slow, easy self-care

I’ve been focusing a lot on small, simple self-care habits lately, specially things that help with stress without feeling like another task. One of the things that helped me was creating a cozy coloring book filled with easy, calming illustrations (mostly homey spaces and soft everyday scenes). It’s not meant to be “artistic” or challenging, just something gentle you can do when you need to slow down or reset your mind a bit. If anyone here is into very simple, relaxing creative activities, I’m happy to share it.
