Lately I’ve been noticing something strange about the Overworld, and I’m starting to wonder if anyone else sees it too. There are little hints everywhere that the Nether isn’t just a separate dimension anymore — it might actually be creeping into the Overworld.
Zombie Piglins shouldn’t even exist here, yet they appear naturally. Ruined portals are scattered across every biome like scars from past breaches. Lava lakes seem more common in newer worlds. Even Nether blocks and structures show up in places they never used to.
It feels less like “the Nether is far away” and more like “the Nether is leaking through.”
Minecraft Legends makes this even weirder. The Piglin corruption doesn’t just spread — it transforms the land into Nether terrain. It changes the sky, the ground, the mobs, the everything. That’s not a normal infection. That’s dimensional takeover. Maybe the Piglins are striking back from the nether...
So here’s my question:
Is the Overworld slowly turning into the Nether, and we’re just seeing the early signs?

The Vengeful Heart of Ender in Minecraft Dungeons has the same layout, just corrupted and purple.
It’s a tiny detail, but once you see it, you can’t unsee it. I think that Forsight might have a darker side then what the game lets on.

The Heart of Ender represents the End’s corruption and the ability to see across dimensions.
