as an incoming first year

can someone walk me through how rate my prof works/how to use it? or give me any good professors for psych 101, legal studies 101, econ 101 and arbus 101. for fall 2026.

i was using the chat feature and sometimes when i don’t feel like texting back, i’ll just keep clicking the send button so the bot continues the story for me but recently, it stopped letting me do that and now everytime i try to click the send button to make the bot text, it prompts me to sign up for c.ai plus. the only way i can get the bot to text now is if i send a message and it will respond to me but i don’t always want that. i haven’t used the app in a while but i age verified yesterday and it confirmed me as 18 and let me text 1-1 with the bot so it’s not age that’s the problem. any ideas?

i’m going into arbus this fall and i want to get an ipad and a laptop, what’s the best laptop / ipad that will fit what i need? my parents are okay with buying both but want to know if there are better options rather than a macbook that way its less expensive. i did research but most are saying the mac is the best but i want real testimonials.

can someone explain to me how i know if i’ve set up my microsoft 365/outlook properly? i’m really confused and ive already emailed them but that just made me more confused and im scared im going to miss an important email.

going into arbus this year and before you say anything like oh you don’t need both, my family is able to afford them and willing to pay for both. i would like a mac for the business part of arbus but also an ipad for note taking and organization, what are your recommendations? also does anyone know anything about the apple student discount and/or summer discount and when it happens?

edit: i have thick black hair but ive been told that with pcos, laser can make my hair growth worse and i dont want to risk it
