exfoliate too early

i had laser done on my face on friday and i exfoliated on saturday but a lot of my hair is still here. my skin reacts well to the laser (no burning, peeling, etc) but im curious as to why it looks like none of my hair was even touched by the laser. it looks like i didnt even get anything done because all my hair is still visible. did i exfoliate too early so the hairs didn’t actually come to the surface?

How do you bring up trials with coaches at the same rink (adult skater, 18f)?

I’m moving to a new area for school and am starting at a new club. How do I bring up trial sessions? I don’t even know if that is a thing at this new rink. I have a couple coaches in mind and since I’ve never skated or worked with them before, I want to see how I interact with them before I commit. Im nervous because someone who said it never works well after having an experience at an old rink where the coaches gossiped and got catty.
I reached out to one coach after being recommended him but I want to reach out to another one as well.

I don’t want to have to travel out to a different rink since this one is so convenient. I’m just worried that trialing and picking one over the other would make skating there difficult.

I am worried that it might get awkward between the coaches or I might be written off as the disloyal one and create a bad reputation for myself amongst the coaches, idk.

TLDR: want to trial but worried due to possible cattiness, awkwardness, and what it might do to my reputation amongst the coaches.

edit: this is what I have so far, let me know if i should change anything please, thank you!

“Okay, sounds good. Also, to be completely transparent, I’m looking to reach out to a couple of coaches and do a trial session before committing to something long-term if possible. I’m looking more towards doing the xxx sessions so if you’re comfortable doing a trial session sometime before then, I’m open to discussing times for when that can take place.”

Promissory Note

On Quest, it says you need to pay before you complete the promissory note, but am I now supposed to wait before I submit the promissory note for the fees that I already paid to show up on my account? Or can I just submit it anyways without the update being reflected? On Google and the tutorial they provided, it says wait but what should I do?

i got Rebecca Pister for Psych 101, Mikal Skuterud for Econ 101, Jingjing Huo for Psci 101, Carlie Luciana Leroux for Ls 101. I don’t know my teacher for Arbus 101 yet. What should look out for with these teachers? Which posts slides? Assessments? Studying/learning habits to use? etc

how do i get more comfortable on the ice

i want to feel more comfortable on the ice and i also want to start skating without my helmet on which i’ve talked about with my coach. i’m 18f and have been skating for around a year now. whenever i go to private lessons, im always so timid about the skaters around me and i don’t want to get in anyone’s way because im super slow. i want to practice my star dance patterns (im in canada so starskate) but i feel so slow and im scared to get in the way when someones running their program. i want to also lose fat and gain muscle which i know is just a result of diet and exercise but if anyone has advice for that please tell me. i want to hopefully start competing by next year but i feel like i leave a session feeling good but when i come back, its all gone. i also sometimes cant go to private lessons so i have a gap of 3-4 days between and i feel like that doesnt help. what off ice, exercises can i do? or what free training programs do you recommend? sorry this is so long but i’m so sick of being bad/reverting every time i step on the ice.

edit: i also start feeling bad whenever i leave a session early or before it ends because i feel like i could’ve used that time to practice but im too timid around other skaters and am not confident/comfortable on the ice.
