Well... upon receiving my Lil Sancho today, it became my 55th Big Idea pen.
My first pen purchase was the OG Click Classic in 2016. Ten years ago. I never looked at pens the same after that Click Classic.
And oh my! What a journey it's been. From only having a few models, to now having many models, many mechanisms, many materials. Ten years of constant design innovation, ten years of improving, and ten years of product development! Big Idea has come a very long way!
It's too many to list out individually. I tried to break them up by types. Just to break them you a little. It's almost too hard to capture them all in one picture! Lol.
Got the Lil Sancho today! (Opened it up with the new Ti Manu!) Such a cool little pen! Slightly larger than the mini bolt, slightly smaller than the base line. Really good feel to the pen, size wise. Toothpick and tweezers included in the tail of the pen. Bolt Action is crisp and smooth.
Put up some size comparisons between the Base Line, Lil Sancho, and Mini Bolt.
Also a general run down of all the bolts together. Highlighted the included Damascus bolt pins. As well as a couple of the Damascus clips, and one clip I flame anodized myself. As well as some shots with the Full Sancho. Lol
The day is here! New knife day! Ti Manu has landed!
I fidgeted with Chad's Manu at the Texas Blade Show in March. And I've been busting with anticipation ever since then. And this knife absolutely does not disappoint! It's glorious!
Grade 5 Ti scales. Framelock. S90V blade steel. Ceramic detent. Phosphor Bronze washers. (With ceramic ball bearing also included!) It can actually use either or with no at home mods! Grade 4 Ti reversible pocket clip! (Also with the second clip hardware included.) Thumb studs.
Big Ideas first knife design with outside influence. The legend Ken Onion Jr himself lent his knowledge and design skills to this incredible knife!
It's smooth now, but will only get smoother and better with time! I think I'm going to ride with the washers for a bit.
Little comparison shots as well, between all the Big Idea folders. PKI, PKII, Manu, and Overlook.
Oh... and it's crazy sharp... of course.
US Magnacut Lookout...I dub thee Wounded Marauder!
US Magnacut Lookout with a acid washed blade.
Hand carved copper scales I made from flat bar stock. Distressed it with scratches, divots, and dings. Then shipwrecked it.
Matching Copper Fountain Edc. With the same distressing, same shipwreck. And of course a gold nib! As well a the Chaves skull clip.
I love how they turned out

Another day with a non Ti carry!
Peek Pocket Pro, Peek Bit Bar II
Brass bolt action marker, and shipwrecked brass mini bolt.
US Lookout with brass reptilian scales.
They really nailed the PKII! It's so smooth! So snappy! And listen to that thing! It's glorious!
One of my favorite days of the week! Get to carry all the glorious stonewashed Ti!
Ti GMT, PKII with Ti Damascus thumb studs and bead, Best Damn Edc reverse tanto Lookout with Ti scales and bead, and the badass CRK colab US Umnumzaan bolt action!
The summer usually ravishes my hats. Heat, sweat, and sun can really do a number on em. So I ordered up this Pete's hat! Came with a very nice storage bag. Love it!
Along with the rest of my PPL gear. Overlook, Ultem mini pen, puzzle coin, and regular coin.
Been wanting to add a Lookout to my metallurgy Monday posts. Lol. Finally can now!
Golden hour sun spilling through the trees in my yard. Love how three light plays across the scale pattern!
I've always thought brass would be such a great handle material for the Lookout. They've yet to do any brass runs. So... me being the handy creative person I am. I just went ahead and made some.
Ordered some 1/8 inch thick brass flat bar stock. Traced the pattern onto the stock. Rectangle cut around each tracing. Rough cut around the shape. Sanded down to the marker line. Mounted that, and sanded to the tang.
Wanted an interesting texture. So I added this reptilian pattern. I had done this pattern before on some Amboyna Burl for a Spyderco Mule. I'd never done it in metal before, but I was reasonably confident. Lol. First scale has some mess ups, but the second one turned out better. Imperfect but still pretty damn cool looking.
Still fits in the sheath. Added a leather pull and brass bead. With my Selvage sheath wrap. It adds a nice touch of variety to my Lookout and handle collection.
Next up...a copper set! Although I'm thinking of doing those for the Signal. The copper would go well with the beefy nature of the Signal.

This pen has seen two separate different drops. As well as a few that have come across the Big Idea Whatnot auctions. I've missed it every time.
But thanks to u/I-Mr-Nobody-I I was able to obtain this. It'll now join it's fellow US made Pocket Pro brothers. Bronze, Stonewashed Ti, Tiffany Blue and black cerakote, and UV reactive cerakote splatter. Nice to have this added to the collection.
Another one I slept on and regretted sleeping on it. I missed both drops and the few that have come through Whatnot.
Thanks to u/I-Mr-Nobody-I I was able to obtain this great looking pen! Love the US Bronze Pocket Pro to begin with. With a custom cerakote camo, it's quite possibly better! No two are exactly the same!

Made a little trade with u/Charming_Basil3761 to obtain this Paisley Overlook.
I've been kicking myself since Texas Blade Show for not getting a blue Paisley Overlook that day. Missed out on every drop and every Whatnot auction on them since then.
Low and behold a deal came up for this stonewashed version. So I made the trade!
It now joins it's other Overlook brothers. Rock Carved Stonewashed, Tequila Sunrise Duo Tone, Pete's Pirate Life Acid Washed, and the Blue Bronze camo. What a freaking line up.
Also joins it's Paisley cousins, the Notebooks, DLC Base Line, and DLC TPT. All wrapped up in the green waxed fold.
Still loving these boots. Wickett and Craig Double Stuffed Cobalt. Full custom. Cobalt reverse linesman patch, knife pocket, and backstay. Black Latigo/ Cobalt reverse kilties. Sub zero laces Pisgah. Custom homemade web stitching. Truly a build out of my brain into the leather.
Featuring the Ticonic, Ticon1. M390 blade, titanium handles and backspacer. Push button compression lock. Slick knife for slick boots!
This has been my boot knife for the past year almost. Love the shape, the feel, the ergos, and the action. Great little knife!
