The Ms. ordered this 60s Schott Perfecto for 440 CAD. It’s fairly lived in but I enjoy restoring vintage leather jackets, it seems like a simple conditioning job; no cuts or holes.

I wanted to know whether 440 was a good price for an old perfecto or not? Would I have been better off with a new one?

Metal took a gutting when grunge hit the shelves, traditional heavy metal more-so than some.

In a day when everything is a sub genre of a sub genre (and he in turn of a sub genre) what is your go to on your cd player that harkens back to simpler days of severed fingers and being hell bent for leather?

Ignoring sabbath, the 70s has to be the most underrated decade of metal.

I find most people favourite metal albums that aren’t sabbath have only a couple metal songs, and the rest are traditional hard rock.

I personally love Fluff, though it’s up to debate whether an instrumental track can be a ballad. Going by that I think It’s Alright is criminally underrated

Bought an old WW2 RCAF jumpsuit and cropped it into a flight/biker jacket.

Got this off Poshmark, I know it’s legality stands in question, but it’s a piece of Sabbath history regardless. Technically it’s the first live album put out by the band, even if they didn’t know about it!

I’ve seen much discussion online about the deep cuts of the sub genres, but I feel traditional Heavy Metal often gets overlooked.

Any good underrated bands or albums?

Regardless, here’s my new and improved Linkin Park jacket. It’s an M65 lightweight jacket from Alpha Industries and the back art is a cut up Hot Topic shirt.

Since it’s hot as balls I rolled up the sleeves, but since I burn like a candle I threw on the long sleeve to give it that twofer look

I’d post it to r/battlejackets but they don’t like Nu Metal and told me to go to r/jacketsforbattle, but that sub is moreso a political one rather than a music sub.
