How are you guys getting foreign clients/jobs directly from Pakistan?

For those of you working remotely with a foreign company or client and getting paid through remittance, how did you land the job/client?

Did you use LinkedIn, Indeed, cold emailing, referrals, or something else?

Would love to hear how you guys got started and what actually worked for you.

Despite having Premium, I'm still in the Dark..

I have a premium account and still can't see who viewed my profile for some accounts. What's going on?

I'm confused.

I'm working as a "customer success engineer" and mainly we provide Salesforce support to a client. As we manage their application as administrator, we get cases like creating new records or deleting it. And other standard CRM functions..so the system is designed as such that i log into the system and i have some cases assigned to me, which i have to complete within specific time.. meetings with clients are not that frequently maybe once a week if we have any advance case.

Now, i am trying to find a new opportunity but most of the customer success roles are about sales, revenue etc but my experience was basically support related..

What should i do?

Need a Salesforce practice project that covers beginner to advance admin skills.

Hello Everyone.

I have been working as a Salesforce support admin for more than 2 years but i haven't been able to upgrade my skills. I haven't worked on flows or integrations with other apps in Salesforce. Just doing the same basic tasks as I was doing on the first day of the job..

When i joined the company, their Salesforce org was already running, they just wanted someone to handle basic tasks.. so, i didn't get the chance to create/experiment something new.

Now, as i am applying for new opportunities, i am finding it difficult to pass the interviews and assessments. Because everyone is looking for someone who has experience in automation and integrations.

I know, it's my fault but i want to make it right now.. if you guys have any such practice project that would be helpful..

Going to Dongguan - good decision or not?

Going to Dongguan - good decision or not?

I'm planning to come to China to start sourcing / export business. But right now, I'm planning to come to China on a 1 year language program. Learn the language and also visit companies/manufacturers.

And for this purpose, I'm thinking of moving to Dongguan as it is in the center of Shenzhen and Guangzhou. And it will be easy to visit both cities.

If anyone running a sourcing business in any of these cities, is it practical or not?

Question: Is it still worth it in AI era?

Hi everyone,

I'm from Pakistan, i have 5 years of experience in Salesforce customer success and business analyst roles. And I'm thinking of pursuing project management.

  1. With AI and it's automations, Do you think PMP will become even more valuable or will AI reduce the need for traditional project management skills?

  2. Which PMP skills do you think will remain irreplaceable?

  3. If you were starting your career today, would you still invest the time and money to earn a PMP certification?

Please share your perspective and insights!

30 years old, with 5+ years of experience wants to work in China and start a new life!!!

Hi everyone,

I am a 30 year old, single male from Pakistan .I have done my Bachelors in Computer Science in 2019 and have 5+ years of work experience. Mainly as a Salesforce CRM Admin and also a business analyst.

I have tried to apply for jobs directly but no success. Now, i am planning to come to China on a Study visa for a 1 year Chinese language program. Try to learn some chinese and simultaneously apply for jobs too especially in tier 1,2 cities.

I know that working on a student visa is illegal but my plan is to get a legit job offer and convert into a work visa.

If you have any experience or advice related to this, please share.
