Getting Ready for INDX installation- advice requested

I'd like to be as prepared as possible for the INDX installation.

Those of you who have done it already, please would you advise?

What should I purchase ahead of the time? Extra PTFE tube? Parts tray for the process?

Anything I should print now (before my Core 1+ is in parts )?

Anything I should do now, other than wait?

Oh... how tall is the finished project? I need to decide whether I need to relocate my printer

Thanks!

Mise en place

Or workflow. Prepping my coffee beans for the week ahead, I realized I'd bean working "backwards" since I began traveling down this rabbit hole of home espresso.

Previously, I set the tubes on the right (because they sit up on the shelf above the machine which is on the right)

Today I reversed the set up, and the flow was seamless. Left hand holds the cap and moves the funnel, right hand holds the jug of beans, pours into left hand which drops beans down into the funnel until I've got the correct weight.

Left takes funnel out, right lifts tube, left screws cap and places tube. Move on.

Nothing earth shattering. Pretty mundane, really. It got me thinking though: how many of us bork our workflow because of traditions (working left to right, rather than right to left for example)

Anyway. Have a Sinister day, fellow lefties

Printing Fails repeatedly. Following Recs. Prusa Core1+

Hi.

Using a Prusa Core 1+ , followed the print instructions (0.2, 3 perimiters) Printing with well-dried PLA. Starter pack (the stand alone single panel)

Trying to get a feel if this is right for me, thought I'd give it a go. Every single plate has taken three attempts to get it to print without a failure.

For context, I have not had a fail on this printer in months. Self-designed/downloaded: it all just prints. Not a noob, but this one genuinely has me scratching my head.

Anyone got similar problems, or insights as to the why?

I Love this hobby

i3MK3S just chugging along, doing the work. One dozen ramped gridfinity-style cups. I'm repurposing two parts cases to be pill storage for my gf. 18 bays each. Two more plates yet to be printed (one in orange, for morning meds, one in clear for mid day)

Lid Storage_Mason Jar edition

Nothing fancy. Got tired of scattered plastic mason jar lids. I use seven of them every weekend, making overnight oats for the week ahead. This keeps them neat until I need them. Unexpected bonus was the thumb spot at one end (I mis-measured, but it's useful for picking it up)

Corsair C-70 build ideas for a badass case

OK. I'm build-illiterate, but I love this case and want a screamer of a PC built into it.

Use case: CAD/3D Printing/ Internet/ Home projects.

Case is a Corsair C70 Vengeance... looks like something you'd see in a movie about war...green, latches, lots of airflow.

Motherboard is a MSI Z270 SLI I'm told there's an i5 cpu on it

Needs GPU (or two?) ,RAM, probably a bigger power supply, (currently 600W Thermaltake). Needs HDDs several of them. Perhaps SSD's, IDK, illiterate remember?

want to run at least dual monitors, or UW +2

What's the best approach? restore/retrofit, or rip it out and put in what?

NKD

Lefty Umnumzaan.

Decided to sidestep the stress and worry of aftermarket, and go with retail. Glad I did.

Busy weekend ahead, this one's going to get a workout!

Picked up a Sportkilt for lazy days at home. Nothing traditional about it. Quite happy with the velcro closure at the waist. Pockets are average at best. Figured I'd go with a non-trad "sporran" to make up for the pockets.

Could go up a size, but this was ebay'd. Not for out and about. Very comfortable!
