doom daddy came home to sd

i took this at the Author and Punisher show 26/10/01 at the casbah

i won these tires in an alleycat on saturday and put them on my tracklo for txwt on sunday. they felt good in the sand

now i need a ti bike to have all the materials

i did an hour of power workout then did some dirt laps. it’s suboptimal with 38c dirt tires and a dry ass chain though. 43/13 barely fits with the same chain as 43/18
it would be nice if the city of sd would stop destroying our tracklocross course 😑

with the goths. i found out that pvc does not breathe well in the heat 😅

and got 3rd overall. 160 laps of the park without stopping

the new tc modes are interesting. there were some steep and rutted out sections of this road and g mode would let the tire slip then hook up to maintain traction. it made it easy on street tires

i haven’t been able to ride this bike since i transferred everything to my bxt. i put an affinity crankset on this frame and it feels nice to have a street fixie again.

the gatorskins still feel slow af though, idk if i should put gp5ks on these wheels too of if there’s a cheaper tire that still rolls decently and is durable
