Help w/ Blue Begonias

I recently got a begonia Betsy and I’m trying to bring out the Blue in her. What exactly do I have to do for that to happen? She’s in low light. I have a little full spectrum puck light at the top, set to 30% light, so it’s dim. It’s in high humidity. The only thing I can’t get up is the temp. The temp stays around 75° I know they like it warmer.
Do I just have to be patient? Or is there something else I need to add or do to get her to make blue leaves?
Any help and tips are appreciated.

Is my boy considered a cow?

My boy Rocket. He has a black tail and the 2 spots on his head. Is he considered a cow?

Meuwwww

I have 7 cats. But only 3 are cows. The others are all grey, grey and white, all black with white paws and a spot on her lips, and all white with a black ear and black tail. The last one doesn’t count as a cow, does it? It doesn’t really have spots.

Am I doing it right?

I decided to try making a ping rock. Did I do it right? I used leca at the bottom, a layer of mesh, fluval, then I used dragon stone and wicking rope around the rock. I used distilled water to the rim of fluval. I lost some leaves and would like to prop them. Am I doing that right? Lol I just placed it on top of the stratum. Is that good? Any advice is welcome.
These are supposed to be: Estrellita and Cyclosecta

Mathilde Splash peduncles!

I’ve had her for about 6 months. This is her first time. I’m pretty sure these are peduncles. Are they? Can’t wait! I hope the flowers are scented. 🤞🏼

I’m a proud owner of a Ferox!

I wasn’t expecting it to look this good after transport. 😍 And it was bigger than I expected. But of course my clumsy ass broke the newest baby leaf coming in. 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄😭
Are they slow or fast growers?

Begonia Betsy’s

I just received this begonia Betsy in the mail. I bought it as a starter plant, along with a tiny warocquean and an even tinier jewel orchid. My question is this: are these normal roots for a starter begonia?
I gently ran the roots under water to get out the old soil and this is what was left. It looks like there are no roots. I put it in fluval and perlite and put a cloche over it. Should I complain about this?

Prop Box Idea

There’s nothing like getting a free prop box. When I order a platter from Publix or buy a box of Ferro Roche chocolates, they make perfect prop boxes. But it can look messy to have all those boxes and containers lying around or even stacked.
Well, I found this neat little idea on Instagram. Can’t remember now what “influencer” suggested it, but I am in love! It’s spacious, it’s all clear (so I can see root growth), it’s not completely sealed so it has a bit of air flow, it’s so organized. It fit all those prop boxes in the 1st pic into these drawers! 🤩

Terrarium and Soil questions.

I’m taking the plunge and making a terrarium. I’m planting mostly begonias in there. I figured maybe I have a better shot at keeping them alive in a terrarium. I’m going to add leca at the bottom, Mesh screen, then a layer of charcoal, and then I wanted to add the best soil for begonias. Can anyone recommend the best soil recipe for a terrarium full of begonias? I was thinking coco coir/ peat, perlite/ pumice, fluval, garden lime, fine bark. Does this seem good? Is there anything you recommend to raise my success rate? Should I change the order of layers? Would appreciate any and all help.

White Monster?

I bought this Monstera from Walmart labeled White Monster, but its newest leaf has almost no variegation. Does that mean the next leaf will also be all green with no variegation?

Which one?

There’s two begonias that I want to buy but I can’t decide between the two. The two I want is the begonia Ferox or the begonia Red Urchin. They both cost the same, but the Ferox is bigger. Maybe someone can tell me if one is harder to grow than the other or not worth it, or more rare. Any help would be appreciated. *Not my photos. Only for reference*

Polyneura

I usually see these trailing, so I decided to do something different.

Any chance?

I got this little Anthurium Warocqueanum back in April. She did fine at first, I had her in jar with high humidity, but I never replanted her. The leaves started dropping, so I took her outside and placed her next to the King which is doing so well. Then the last, largest leaf dropped. I’ve been watering it regularly since, not allowing it to dry out and such. But no sign of growth. I started using fluval stratum so decided, why not give it a go for this baby queen. I removed it from the plug it was in and that corky soil was so stuck to those roots, I’m hoping this is what was wrong with it. I stuck it in fluval and covered it. Do you think there’s a chance for this little baby? Is there anything else I should be doing here to help? Thanks.

What are these?

I found these on 2 vines of my Hoya Lucanosa. I live in S FL. I couldn’t upload my video, but they are dancing on there. I don’t know whether to kill them or dance with them. 😭

Is this a Hoya? It’s my mother-in-laws. If not, what plant is it?
