I have heard thousands of songs, Isle of the cheetah is one of the best I have ever heard.

that song couldnt have been written by a human, its just too perfect.. maybe i am glazing too hard, but please be patient with me. between the absolute gorgeous chord progressions in the chorus, and the high romanticism and impressionism that Hums lyrics are known for.. no band has ever made me feel like that except Failure with their spectacular songwriting.. Matt Talbott is an absolute poet, and the way he and his bandmates write music with such unconventional melodies and harmonies just proves how special they are. I wish they got bigger and not Deftones, i wont apologize for this statement. thank you for listening to my ranting.

let's talk about Apocalypse Bloom

God, where do I start? this track is absolute cinema. the lyricism is incredibly cool, the chord changes are amazing, and just like the title, the music has both a sense of beauty and dread, but the outro? Holy shit.. that acoustic riff with that sick bassline is just ear candy, I literally cannot glaze 🍩 this song enough, especially the outro .. and I cannot get over the bassline, Greg Edwards is a bass wizard.

My childhood hyperfixation

when I was a child, like 7 years old, I was religiously obsessed with astronomy, I would watch TV documentaries about space, write down informations and memorize them, I memorized the solar system in order in 3 different languages, I would try to info dump my knowledge with my classmates and some of them were interested and some of them weren't. Space shuttles were my Sh*t!! I adored them so much (and I still do as a 25yo guy) I would draw them all the time. I had a naive dream in my childhood to become an astronaut but my teacher said that's not really possible which felt bad lol. years passed and my space hyperfixation faded and got replaced with Cognitive Science/Psychology. but space shuttles will always be my GOATs.

The reality of autism in Morocco

Salam alaykum guys, this is my first post here. I’m an autistic adult, and I've been thinking about how neurodivergence plays out in our culture. our culture can be energetic and intense which isn't always for the best, add to that the traditional family expectations that can really take a toll on one's well-being.

I wanted to reach out to see if there are any other autistic people in this sub regardless of level (or if you have a friend or a sibling sibling who is) and hear about how you're dealing with daily life in our society and culture. These past 25 years have been extremely alienating and rough so I'd like to hear from/about other ASD people.

Thank you in advance for your contribution. 🌸🌸

I might be the only one, but Comfort is one of my top Failure albums, and for multiple reasons.

Comfort is by far Failure's darkest and grimiest album; both lyrically and sonically, like even the album cover really reflects the vibe of the album. The electric guitars are unapologetically heavy (heavier than any other album), menacing, in your face, some guitar parts are absolutely unhinged.. the bass in this album is the best in my opinion, Greg on fretless bass is a force of nature, just listen to screen man or pro catastrophe. I also love the claustrophobic sound engineering provided by Steve Albini. there are elements here that are unmistakably Failure-ish, like the style of chords writing, you can definitely notice it's failure, they love to come up with some bizarre melodies (Magnified is full of this) but more twisted in this album; like the track Salt wound, the chords in the guitar intro are super unsettling to me.

I love this album to death. Thanks for listening to my glazing and yapping.

It is a Japanese movie I believe, I watched it with my father back in 2007 in Arabic dub on a channel called Space power (GOATED shit) what I remember from the movie is a depressed teenager who never leaves his room stuck on his computer controlling a robot that lives in the outside world, like the robot is living in his place while the teenager is just in his room. I remember the robot committed suicide and got smashed by a train and I think the boy commanded it maybe. that's all I remember please please help me know the name.. I will be grateful
