How Layla became a princess (my theory)

I think Layla becoming a princess (and her Dad/Mom being king and queen) was a bit of a rolland case

I think Layla's dad had an older sibling who was the heir but died, leaving him next in line, causing the whole "crowned King last week"

It lines up with Gerber saying Layla was still nobility, but she probably didn't ever think she would be a princess

How do I convince my mom not to make my personal essay about my disabilities?

Class of 2027 here

So my mom wants me to start working on my essay (I'm fine with that, I really don't care). The thing is, she wants to do it on my disabilities/ how I "overcame" them. And I don't for many reasons

1:I know Colleges/universities can be kinda of weary struggle applicants/Essay, 2: I don't feel that strongly about writing an essay about them, and honestly don't know what I'll talk about (my disabilities are kind of mild and don't need much support for them {seriously I don't think about them most days}) so i don't how i can write 600 words about them 3: i genuinely have better ideas

and before you ask "why can't i tell her no?" My mom is generally so stubborn that I basically can't convince her to do anything when she has her mind "set" on something. She also went to college in the 90s and believes the struggle essays are still the way "in" to college ( there's literally so much she (and my Dad) don't know about college applications these days, it's stressing me out) doesn't help; basically, my only way into college is scholarships

But yeah, how do I manage to convince them to let me write about anything else?
