Tarantula not molting

I’ve had my red knee for about 2 1/2 months now. I’m not sure of his gender, but i’ve just been calling him a him. But he hasn’t molted yet and he’s a junior. I’m not sure if my tank is moist enough, so i’m gonna fix that today. But is there any other factors that could be a reason he hadn’t molted yet?

100$

Is there any animal that I could spend 100$ on, enclosure and all? Dw, i’ll be able to house it correctly and continue to care for it.
(Edit)
I think some people in the comments are getting confused. I will be able to buy it food and take it to the vet if needed. The 100$ is just for the initial purchase of everything i would need and the pet.

New to pigeons

Hey yall! I really wanna get a pigeon. But i don’t know the first thing about them. I’m doing research but i’m just wondering if anyone has any advice that could help me? I’m just wondering what their setup would look like and if you need to train them. Also do they poop everywhere? If they do, are diapers ethical?

advice for potentially picking up tarantula

I have a red knee tarantula and i’ve had him for a few months now. I’m aware you don’t have to hold tarantulas and sometimes it’s not recommended at all. But every time my hand is in his enclosure, maybe just to move something or fill his water. He flicks hair at me. I’m just wondering if there’s anything more i could do so he could be less stressed out about me. Or if there is any potential in the future for me to hold him?

Transferring

my Tarantula is currently a junior, and he’s in one of those carrier cages. He’s been in there for about a month. I know the size is okay for him to be in, but i want to transfer him into a 10 gallon i have for him. Is he still too little for that?

not exploring

I’ve had my mexican red knee for a few hours now, and he’s barely moved. He has moved from one wall to another, but he hasn’t gone on the substrate or in his hide. Should i be worried?

New red knee tarantula

I just got him, he’s a junior so it’s fine to keep him in a tank this small. I’m just wondering should i add anything else?

heating pad?

I’m new to arachnids and i have yet to get one. I’m doing my research before hand, but i keep seeing mixed things on heating pads. My room is usually around 65° and i wouldn’t put the heating pad on the bottom, i’d put it on the side. But should i get one?

plastic fish tank

I have a 12 gallons plastic fish tank, but after a few discussions i’ve realized it’s probably not the safest to keep a fish in it due to if it were to crack/leak. Does anyone have any ideas for what i should do with it then?

plastic tank

Are there any downsides to having a plastic tank? The plastic is food grade which means it’s safe for the fish. But it’s bigger than the tank my beta is currently in.

plastic tank

I have a 6 gallon tank by the fluval brand for my beta. But i have a 12 gallon plastic tank. Ik plastic tanks are completely fine, but the fluval tank came with all the stuff it needed like a heater and filter, so i’m wondering if there’s a way to take that stuff and put it in the plastic one?
