we all at this point likely know about what recently happened with the SSPX and them being excommunicated from rome

because of this, i've seen prospective converts from both sides of the conflict, both from the SSPX that want to be in communion with an apostolic church without having to submit to the pope, as well as those leaving rome due to feeling betrayed by the pope over this schism

what can we do to make the lay converts feel as welcome as possible?
what can we do to get those on the fence more interested?
and what would happen in the hypothetical event in which their clergy ask to formally enter communion with us, what would be expected of them and how would it be handled on our end?

i just wanted to start the conversation about this, wanting to hear everyone's thoughts

i've been trying to get my hands on a 5th gen camaro for lord knows how long, just been having trouble getting approved on the loan, if i can't get the camaro, then my 2nd best option was the F-bird, but as i've been made aware, the stock engines don't make very good power and arent easy to work on or mod, so i was considering just LS swapping it, i've done an engine swap before and on a GM product, but it was a 60s chevy chassis and a 60s big block chevy, i've never done anything with even semi modern ECUs and stuff, and i wanted to know if it'd be possible, if there's kits for this stuff and if it'd even be possible, and if it is, how reliable would the car be afterwards?

option A. once per day you can turn 1 random inanimate object you want into cheese, it can be any kind of cheese you want so long as it is entirely cheese that contains nothing else but pure cheese, the cheese can come in whatever form you want, wheels, slices, bricks, etc, the cheese equals the same weight/mass/density of the item you chose to turn into cheese, you cannot accidentally turn things into cheese, and things that have been turned into cheese have cannot be reverted back, either the cheese is eaten, preserved and remains cheese forever or rots, no one will know you have this power unless you reveal it to them, the item you choose poofs into cheese with a smoke cloud, but you must wait until sunrise the next day to use the power again

option B: every time you drive up to the gas pump, you get a 20% chance at getting a full refuel for free regardless of fuel tank size of the vehicle, you still get your points, you are not depriving anyone of their money or fuel by doing this it just magically free but just for you, and the fuel type doesn't matter, it only works for the 1 transaction and only applies to the vehicle you drove to the gas station, it also only works if you fill hat vehicle's tank, if you attempt to do this with a jerry can, you only get 1 jerry can, you also cannot share the fuel or sell it, it must be used by you and the vehicle's fuel tank must have the same capacity or less than the factory fuel tank, no cheating

the tail is a prehensile monkey like tail, but it is mostly hairless, so not covered in hair like a saiyan tail

i've seen alot of flack across the internet on both of these brands, why is that? and overall which would you say is better?

kinda like how rome has hospitals and soup kitchens

so i had an idea, what if we tried building low income housing units and renting them out at maintenence cost to impoverished people to help solve the housing crisis?

a hospital is obviously expensive and chock full of regulations, daycares could also be an issue due to the lack of women, and the fact that many people wouldn't feel comfortable leaving their children in the care of mostly men, but everyone needs a safe place to go and sleep and store their stuff, what else would be better for our image that wouldn't get overshadowed by rome or the protestants?

this would also give the energetic young male converts a place to direct their energy to help the church grow and reach new people into something positive

are there any teachings that would forbid this plan? any priest that wouldn't mind chiming in would be much appreciated

I (25M) and my mom (57F) recently lost my grandma (88F) to heart problems my grandma was a very stubborn woman, she was convinced the whole time she would make it home and live to around 100, but that wasn't god's plan, because of this, she never wrote a will

my aunt is a hoarder, she has lost 2 houses because the city condemned them, she almost cost us my childhood home as well due to her hoarding, and then moved in with my grandma and did the same behavior, i told mom and grandma for years to kick her out, both refused, the only reason we got her out of my childhood home was due to us moving house, which even after the house was sold and we gave her the eviction notice, she kept squatting there and acted shocked when the bank sent people over to inspect the house so the house could be prepped to go back on the market and then blamed my mom saying that she didn't tell her/give her enough time, my aunt has since been living with my grandmother since i was 17, she's done nothing to help my grandmother in her declining health and yet lived rent free both with us and grandma, and even still is living in my grandmothers house, grandma's accounts were set to auto pay the bills, so she gets to live there rent free and bill free, now with no one to stop her from hoarding even more

my uncle tried here and there to help grandma, but he lives in the city on the opposite side of our state, 3 and a half hours away, plus the fact that he was legally blind up until recently and due to diabetes, has only 1 good foot and only has 3 toes left he is only able to drive in his local area, the best he was able to do to help was occasionally refund my mom for paying for my grandmothers medications and encourage grandma to go to her doctor's appointments in the city which she would often try to weasel out of so she could spend more time with my uncle

my mother did everything with me acting as her assistant, my mom drove her an hour away to church, drove her the 3.5+ hours to her doctors appointments and to see my uncle and his kids in the city, paying for grandma's medicine and health insurance, everything, my grandmother was also responsible for caring for my severely low functioning autistic younger brother (21M) who is also diabetic, i myself am also on the spectrum but i am much higher functioning than he is, and in grandma's absence i have taken over his care, my grandma was my mom's everything, my mom put her first above everything even me, my brother and my dad

my uncle wants to split the estate 33% each way and wanted to use my grandma's life insurance that only had my mom's name on it to pay for the funeral expenses of which my aunt picked out everything for and my mom had no say in, i say that my mom should get everything and they should get nothing, i told off my uncle for even daring to make that suggestion because my mom is getting pressured into going along with it and likely would've if i hadn't stepped in

frog genuinely does taste like chicken, depending where you are it can be cheaper than chicken and is healthier than chicken, same thing goes for gator and rabbit (unless you count jackrabbit, that tastes very different and is more of a red meat) people just refuse to eat it because they imagine a green frog just plopped on a plate and not something that's been skinned, cleaned and cooked

with turkey, that's the most palatable thing average people are willing to eat, but it's still not common to find in chain resturants

the reason i say this is because my priest has a dietary restriction for religious reasons (orthodox monk with a more open dietary range due to needing more protien)
and i have other friends that can't eat red meat for health reasons but can eat dairy and white meat, and all of them are getting sick of eating chicken constantly and having that be the main/only meat they can get, and because i'm one of the main chefs at my church, i'm sick of having to go to the ends of the earth to get things they can eat other than chicken like rabbit, duck, turkey, frog, gator, etc
i had to drive an hour to the next major town over to the south with the same chain grocery store that my town has 2 of just to get frog legs on the one day of fasting we have in which we can eat fish during lent

I'm originally from Crockett, north of houston, i've been living in kansas, visiting back during summers as a child since i was about 8 or 9, one of my highschool friends who was born and raised in kansas and never properly visited any other state other than colorado (he's also been trucking all over the states but that doesn't really count) i'm trying to figure out where i should take him since we recently were given a gift from my mother to go on a partially expense paid trip for a week but i'm still trying to figure out where i should take him, he and i are religious, so wherever we go has to have an orthodox church somewhat close by on sunday, but other than that we are flexible

the next list i'm going to start collecting is a pure Tempestus Scion list, because of this i started researching different units, and obviously mordian glory was one of the first to pop up and he then became my go-to, i was wondering if the aquilons are good units and worth the points and what their role is in a scion list, i'm not interested in using bullgryns either for this list

as an employed 25 year old man i thought i was losing touch with meme culture since i havent seen anything i find particularly funny in it's own right in a good while, 6-7, John Pork and whatnot i just found funny ironically since i could pester my friends and gen alpha younger cousins with it, then i found the Sneakers O'Toole meme, i didn't think it was that funny at first but it was everywhere so i just shrugged my shoulders and chuckled along despite my confusion, as i find myself back in my family's town this week, i went along with my mom to get gas, when she walked up to my driver's side window she looks at my temples and says "you've got a cluster of blackheads, you should pop them", that made me remember how much i hated when she'd pop my blackheads and zits, and then without skipping a beat my mind instantly sings "i'm not popping my blackheads out, i am blackeads O'Toole!" against my will and i wanted to slam my head through my windshield.

i have both the textures and the stormcloak standalone mod installed, i don't want the guards to get replaced, just the stormcloaks, it's at the bottom of my load order so nothing is overwriting it, when i run the mod by itself with nothing else, it still happens, but when i enable everything else on my list, ralof ends up equipping the armor he gets from immersive armors
i'm using mod organizer 2, and i told it to merge the files between the HD textures and the standalone stormcloak thing, what else do i need to do to make this work?
