So i am here to ask for advices that I can get as a solo indie dev who started unreal i have worked a bit with godot recently the reason i want to switch is because unreal is the industry standard kinda.

Here is what the current state looks like i am making a first person horror type game i already have the 3d assests for the game ( mostly what I need ) i bought them plus i also saw a free charchter model when unreal was giving it for a limited time so I grabbed it and now using it . what I don't have is the ai models, enemy models right now but I do have a basic things for my game.

Now considering this what are your thoughts will be the hardest challenges for me as a complete newbie which I should keep in mind as I advance forward in the game

so i have a question like i have never brought any of these bundles before it's my first time and recently i struggle quite a lot with blender and was not able to I am working solo on a game and it's just my question should I buy it or not as I earned a bit of money through playtesting as well to buy either one of these .

i have never bought any assets so this is my first time and what's your opinion on the thing i am genuinely confused i wanna ask from some experts what's your opinion on this as well

I have a question should you buy humble bundle and bundle foundry if there is a use for them in your games see the thing is i am having trouble in making the enviornment in blender (i suck ) I did earn a bit and the packs for both cost around 35 to 40 dollars and plus i ma thinking that they can have use in my other games as well . i am very confused should I buy it or not plus what's the things I should be careful plus anything that you can tell about them will be helpful as I am kinda dumb for these things or maybe I just getting scammed or what

mind you I don't have any assets that I have buyed so this is my first time to buying any type of assets

is this genuine or not like i don't know and I feel like its a phishing site so I needed help to ask you vertans

i wanna ask about publishing like if let's say I become a publisher with the most i can do is give you steam fees of 100 dollar and only takes like 15 to 20 percent cut of the income after steam takes . and mailing content creators about your game is it good like i am myself am a q/a tester i can send you my profile as well if you want I can do q/a as well.

just asking will anyone take this offer like i haven't done publishing before so idk but that's just a question that came to my mind ?

So here is the thing I am currently 19 year old I have two pathways one is the business which is okaish kinda but don't have that much future scope like in my area and the other is game dev . so i would normally go with game dev as I have been working on my game for like 3 to 4 months but recently there was a argument with family about the money issue like my biological parents are no longer here plus the issue is with like my family which I live with . they are good people but they want me to stand on my career and all but as you know game dev takes time to build a career kinda .

so what I thought to do is like my father's business is mostly run on morning like 9 a.m to 3 p.m and the rest of my day is kinda free usually I take the full day for game development of the things trying and testing but to go part time then when I find success after that completely switch over it like that the thinking like working on my game from 5 p.m to 2.am or maybe and sleep a bit after coming to home

so my freind is in a urgent need for a thumbnail designer he needs some one who has at least a good portfolio and is in gaming niche (indian bike 3d , gta 5) like handsome gamer,RAT, Reneex check out there channel for the contexts . you will be given around 300 to 700 rupees according to the work you can contact for more information on this email - abhaybusi@proton.me

I bought Udemy subscription what course should I choose

so here is a thing like i need some courses to make myself more skilled and I earned a bit so I wanted to

spend on improving my skills a bit in game development so here is a question like what should I enroll course in

the first course i definately wanna have a is a blender course like i need to learn blender for real i suck at it

the second is a unreal engine course this is for a freind who wants to make a unreal game so i wanna help him out a bit as well a bit.

and i wanna have a unreal course too because of some project i want like which I don't wanna say

So i am running into an issue like the issue is with me launching my steam page I have the funds but the issue is with the driving licence and passport i need at least one of the two to like go into the steam works but both take time and I am almost done with my game like it's at its very last leg and some polishing needed and it will be ready but now here is the problem I can't i don't have clear records on my details that are required to make a passport or a driving licence making them would take a lot of time like a month or two maybe so should I start working on my next project till then because I don't think polishing it more would be beneficial like so that's just the question i had in mind

My next game i wanna make is a visual novel i plan to

Because i wanna write my own story kinda and it's a bit of a passion project honestly I am a bit nervous because I am switching to a horror 3d game to a visual novel game which isn't horror not gonna lie so what's your opinion like can i ask .

Just a bit i have planned

Release this horror game by June end if I get my passport by may end and 1 month for wishlist till then i work on two project one is my passion and other is a other horror game which I have idea i know i am taking aload on myself by assigning two games at one but I will give both equal time and yeah the horror game 2 will be small as well

Plus just a side note I don't want publishers right now maybe for visual novel game i would need but not for the other two they don't have enough big scope so yeah
