I had Madden 26 so perhaps it's a sale for certain people who had last year's Madden but did not pre-order 27.
I'll always be a bit biased towards 2000 since I was there, but I actually think my favorite was 2002 (despite HHH winning). I liked all the Rumble returns, Maven eliminating Taker, and Hurricanes comedy spot.
I ideally would like to have a Universe mode with "legends" and utilize different arenas etc. However it feels like if you assign people to multiple shows, then there's no proper way to do divisions etc.
I would like to have set divisions across multiple shows. Is there a clean way to do what I'm looking for, or not really?
For me it'd probably be in TNA when a wrestler was.....pleasuring himself in a trash can to a female backstage announcer.
Another was when Carlito was chasing Hornswoggle and Hornswoggle disappeared into a hole, and Carlito tried running into the hole and fell down.
I used to be fine with my Steam Deck but after playing on my Switch 2 it feels too bulky to me. And the problem is that most of the good handhelds seem to be even bulkier than the Steam Deck (unless you want to compromise with a screen of 7" or below.
It actually has me looking into Android handhelds because in theory, a handheld that would be at least a 7.5" screen, and be lighter than the Steam Deck, but more powerful than the Steam Deck, doesn't seem like something realistic to exist.
What do you find to be too bulky?
Whether it be the main story mode in No Mercy, season mode in Smackdown games, older GM mode, or anything else WWE 2K26 has, what mode in what game do you think is the most replayable?
I have a Universe mode set up with 40 total wrestlers (10 per division), with 7 matches each show.
However, it seems like for the most part, the same 15-20 wrestlers seem to be appearing on most shows. I get that a couple might have a rivalry so that gets them on, but it seems like there are still guys who never really appear.
What's the key to getting everyone on a fair rotation?
I use the word "stipulation" and not "storyline" because obviously The Invasion always dominates the storyline question (rightfully so), as well as The Nexus and a few others.
But what are some of the worst stipulation payoffs?
I imagine others will provide better ones, but one that comes to mind for me is The Authority having to disband, and then a few weeks later them being brought back because Rollins threatened to curb stomp Edge, who was irrelevant at the time.
In Universe mode, I don't necessarily want all my matches to be long- sometimes i like when matches are shorter. What are some ways to generally make matches a bit shorter?
One thing I did (which was tedious now it's done) is to remove all Paybacks from the entire roster. But curious if there's anything else that would help.
Curious to see what examples there are out there of guys being buried for stuff that happened behind the scenes.
One that comes to mind for me was Orlando Jordan. I remember reports surfacing that he was bringing a male "friend" backstage, around the same time period when he suddenly lost the US title to Benoit, and lost to him maybe like 4-5 times in less than a minute. It can be argued it was due to lack of getting over, but the timing felt too coincidental.
Another one was MVP supposedly making a demeaning comment to an employee while he was taking a urine sample, and then WWE had him lose every match for several months straight and gave him a "losing streak" gimmick out of nowhere.
Even if grinding MyFaction, how do you get the persona cards you're seeking? I would love to get say 00 Angle, but I don't see him available on the card market (just things like '17 Xavier Woods that I have no interest in).

Obviously a lot of guys' last matches will be weirder when counting Indy promotions and what not. But as far as what's been on TV & PPV, what are some of the weirdest final matches that people have had?
One that springs to mind for me is Bret Hart. His final match was teaming with John Cena to take on Alberto Del Rio & Ricardo Rodriguez.
I like the gameplay and everything. I'm not into making my own CAWs etc. I unlocked the initial tier of things, but now I just don't know what to do with the game. MyFaction is annoying, My GM seems quite complicated, and Universe mode seems repetitive and kind of shallow after you set everything up.
What's a good way to have fun with it long-term?
I play basketball both inside and outside. I got injured in the past so I got padded sneakers about five years ago or so, but they're worn out.
I don't care about how they look etc, but looking for ones that have the best padding/protection, and open to buying two pairs if necessary (one for indoors, one for outdoors).
