I was annoyed when Christmas started coming earlier and earlier in November, then I got really irritated when it was creeping into October, but now I’m just getting pissed off as Christmas seems to be making itself at home in September. Why the hell does Christmas need 4 months? Why can’t we just have a normal progression of holidays and seasons? It’s bad enough that the stores are pushing Christmas earlier and earlier, but why do people just go with it? Why is it becoming increasingly common to see Christmas decorations go up before Halloween? Why do so many people leave Christmas decorations up for weeks if not months into the new year? Fuck, I hate Christmas creep!

I am starting to feel really anxious! I am trying very hard to protect myself, but it has become increasingly difficult to avoid seeing Christmas crap. It's already in quite a few shops, and the ads are starting too! The mere thought that it will get worse and worse instead of better is horrible. And people starting to ask the usual annoying questions like "What are you going to do for Christmas?". I mean, it is only going to get worse.

Why do we have to endure this torture for so long? We seem to be the most ignored suffering minority in the world. Reminding people that they have nobody, or that their loved ones are dead, or that they are poor is not cool.

On the other hand, I also hate pity. "Oh, I am so sorry you have nobody to celebrate Christmas". "Are there charity meals where you live?"

Just leave us alone!
