arms feeling kinda numb

to be clear: i do probably have some health anxiety and this might be that (i sure hope it is) and not something truly wrong.

i’ve been lifting for around a month, i go 3-4 times a week. today i did push, im sure my form was correct for every thing because my brother is a trainer and he checked. HOWEVER, when i was done with my last set of cable rope pushdowns, my arms felt almost..numb?

i stretched and did 15 min of cardio like normal. it’s been at least an hour now but my arms still feel somewhat numb. im not sure how to describe it, they’re not the typical ‘tingly’ numb like when your arm falls asleep, it’s like i can feel them and feel whatever i touch, but it feels slightly numb and disconnected.

im hoping this is because i maybe didn’t rest enough, or went too hard. or maybe it’s just anxiety/dissociating (although ive never rlly felt this way before). has anyone else experienced this or something similar? :(

same video for different auditions

im not sure if this is a rule that you’re not supposed to use the same videos for different auditions (like for different companies). asking because i got one REALLY good take and i’d probably want to use that everywhere lmao

HAT test

im giving the special HAT test on 30th august and i registered on the HEC website and followed the payment instructions on the website as well.

but im confused, how do i get the roll # slip? there’s no form on confirmation that i’ve registered successfully, even the test date isnt mentioned.

is there something else i have to do? on the ETC website; theres a PDF explaining how to get the roll # slip but its incredibly confusing- you have to submit the application form and the bank draft (but i’ve already paid??), and submit it WHERE?? is this important to do or will the slip be generated itself snd appear on the portal?

I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP!!

how do you act when you MIGHT like a friend but she’s in a relationship?

not just in a relationship, because its on-and-off, but she DOESN’T like you back.

so what are the boundaries? what should you avoid? what’s okay?

what do i feed my cat???

i’d like to preface this by saying my cat is pretty healthy, her coat is healthy, and she plays around as well. she’s 5 years old.

now, the problem is, i didn’t realise that my family giving her boiled chicken as her primary food is not enough for a cat. i was confused as to how she’s still healthy but found out that the treats we give her (me-o & dreamies, mostly) have most of the nutrients she isn’t getting from the chicken- therefore she’s still healthy.

BUT obviously this isn’t enough, and we somehow need to add cat food in this. but she refuses to eat cat food, dry or wet. we’ve tried in the past. i’m thinking i’ll try crushing the dry food and adding it to her chicken (which she’ll only eat if you give it to her BY HAND, by the way. so mixing it all together isn’t even an option) when feeding her.

however, i mentioned this to my mom and because of financial issues she refuses to buy cat food. i decided i’d let it be for this month, and force her to buy it lol.

for the time being, i saw that if you give the chicken and treats together it’s better compared to giving then at different times of the day? is that true? my mom is the one that feeds her usually because i’m not home for half the day so i keep telling her to, though she hasn’t been doing it. i think im gonna have to start doing it myself, which is also okay.

if anyone has ANY suggestions please share. i feel so bad for not knowing this sooner. or not thinking more about it.

how do i know if i want to stay friends

i’ve been going through a pretty rough period in my friendship with 2 people (it was like a trio thing) and it was because of me.

i’m trying to figure out what the right thing is to do. we have a lot of history, i can’t tell if i genuinely want to stay friends with them and rebuild what we had because i GENUINELY want to or because of our history or something, or because i just want to get rid of the guilt i feel for not feeling as strongly for them/having resentments towards them (and other ‘bad’ reasons like this).

one of them has explicitly told me that she probably won’t want the friendship if we just ‘go with the flow’ and see what happens, or decide to just be casual friends. she wants the friendship how it has always been, and i told her i mostly do too, but now i keep second guessing if i truly want that- truthfully? i think part of me doesn’t. and the part that does? i don’t know if it’s truly genuine!!

im just stuck and have been for so long atp. i want to do something already!!

any help would be appreciated x

a ‘proper’ sleep paralysis experience after a while

I’ve been experiencing sleep paralysis for years atp, i think it might have a genetic component to sleep paralysis to some extent because my dad and siblings have sleep issues as well (i’m a psych student if u cant tell)

anyways! my sleep paralysis used to be pretty standard for the first few years, it comes and goes, i got used to it even if it was mostly terrifying. then it became a bit weird- when im not awake, like..i’d basically be experiencing sleep paralysis in my dream. its hard to explain. but i prefer it to the ‘real’ thing- less scary.

but a few days ago, i slept well after weeks of bad sleep (finals 💔) and i think i had a few episodes in a go. i couldn’t even stay up to prevent it because i was so tired. it was really scary, thankfully no auditory or visual hallucinations, but it was like someone held my hands and pulled me towards one side of the bed. then another time it was them holding my hands and pulling them upwards. it’s weirdly more terrifying to think back on than it is when it’s actually happening.

anyways, have a good sleep! i’m now scared to fall asleep tonight haha. but i’ve noticed it’s less likely to happen when i don’t think about it. it almost always happens when it’s on my mind.
