Been tinkering with rekindle.app - mind blown

Imagine all the apps you wish the Scribe had - calendar, email, notes etc, but couldn't get.

I saw a link for rekindle.ink and investigated. It has far.far more than you'd ever need.

I know hat some people like the scribe for the distraction-free expereince - as do I - but I really do think that the rekindle app will stop me from picking up my phone when I remember to check something.

No affilitation whatsoever, just found it and wanted to share, so others can benefit too!

EDIT: rekindle.ink, apologies!

Flagging problem customer accounts

Is there a way to flag up or block certain customers on Shopify? I have a really thriving niche in the main, but there are one or two who drain my batteries. I'd ideally love ot have a flag come up if they order, or tag or SOMETHING!

[Discussion] how best to test a running improvement?

I am a run director at a local parkrun, which is a weekly free time. 5 km run around a local park, we’re all are welcome.

We are soon to add kilometre markers along the route, and I believe that this will make people’s runs faster by a small amount.

I’m wondering how I could test or prove my hypothesis using data which is freely available. For context, every single runner has their position and time logged each week, so I was wondering if I could track some runners before and after?

I would love some input, thoughts and suggestions regarding this challenge.

WFH - Work From Hammock

It is really hot in the UK this week, and I decided, seeing as I have the freedom, to take myself off to the woods nearby. Cool breeze, surrounded by nature - kicking myself I didn’t do this sooner!

Any portable projectors which work with Stremio?

I’m stalking the small portable projectors you can get online in a future Prime day sale, and it seems they run a host of android-based apps, so would potentially run Stremio too.

Has anyone (particularly in the UK) got one of these kinds of projectors and can recommend their model?

What was parkrun like during COVID?

There’s a big gap in my parkrun experience (2015-2016, then 2022-present), so I have no recollection of experience of parkrun during Covid.

What happened? Did they stop? Change routes? Was it even possible to socially distance in a parkrun?

I'm doing the first three of the 'Weird Bristol' walks tomorrow. What should I not miss? What should I skip?

I'm researching a puzzle game and thought that some of the stories and facts from the book (Weird Bristol by Charlie Revelle-Smith) would be worth weaving in.

I know Bristol at a visitor level, and so am doing the the first three walks (Old Town, Redcliffe, Bedminster) tomorrow.

Will take on all suggestions!

(To confirm, a late afternoon wedding, not vampire-themed).

Getting married in the last week of October this year in Surrey. The venue has pretty woods a two minute walk nearby. We’d ideally like to have some pre-ceremony photos in the woods, the ceremony itself, then the meal together (a hot bbq buffet spread rather than a traditional breakfast).

We can’t decide whether to book the ceremony for 3pm or 4pm. If checked and sunset is 4.36pm that day, with light until 5.05pm

One of us is worried it will be too dark before 4pm for photos, and the other would prefer 4pm so the day doesn’t stretch out for our (small number of guests).

Opinions and previous experiences welcome!

We do well each week, and have a good core team of supporters, just interested in any tips and tricks people use to muster up support week to week. Do you do headliners, special weeks, clipboard rallies?
